Pratina l/r? White gold? Or the combination of numeral materials.? What a Great Instrument! And her technique withdraws a great deal of its ability to the max as well as the spirit of the music! Amazing!
this is really a very fine performance....not a flaw in it...the tempos are correct, piano too...smooth as silk beginning to end...phrasing is spot on, noticeably the proper taper at the end of the runs...I have noticed that it is mandatory for Russian instrumentalist to memorize for performance...strangely the flute virtuoso Dennis Bouriakov has never performed on any utube without music...if anybody could perform by memory I would think he could do it.. I wonder if our lovely flutist could tell me where I might acquire the music for this piece...I can't find it anywhere
@@petefrancisurbandance No, that's not it! Maybe it's a special secret Russian one...? There's another recording of it by Ivan Mutuzkin at ruclips.net/video/N0s-DajoOvs/видео.html but it isn't as sensitive as Ksenia's enchanting performance - and he's not as beautifull!! lol
Потрясающе, Так легко, как бы играючи! А я нигде не могу найти ноты этого произведения! Мечтаю! Если есть возможность - поделитесь, пожалуйста! vassa19@yandex.ru
Wonderful, fantastic- beautiful playing! What a gift for the flute! Thanks for sharing your beautiful gift, young lady. 😁. Could you please share the where bouts of this version? I would very much appreciate it. Thanks again.
It's beautiful. Impeccably remarkable. But why move so much? I've never understood this. Why can't you just stay still? It looks a bit weird and I believe better tone (not that you need it because your tone is wonderful) is executed with a still flute.
It's probably due to teachers? Maybe it is to prevent stiffness? It's true that it is a bit distracting. I have no knowledge of flute technique, but I studied piano in my youth. I had to pass from a teacher who said "Don't move the flat of the hand at all, it has to remain still, only the fingers move, independently" to a teacher who wanted continuous up and down movement like a wave with each note, coming from the shoulder. She said that it made it less stiff and more expressive. I had a very hard time adjusting to the new style, after all the effort it had cost me to learn the previous one. But it definitely helped with my back, I got less tired!

Ksenia, hello!

Bravi, ambedue i musicisti. Peccato per alcune note crescenti soprattutto nel finale. Comunque bravi.
How many sheets is the sheet music? How did you feel when you found out you had to memorize all of this?
Looks like baby from Dirty Dancing
I'm sure neither the pianist, nor the flautist did listen to the opera!

E particolarmente "Addio del passato" anche!
@@gtundiful Vero. Più cantabile poteva essere. D'altra parte non può avere la stessa espressività e lo stesso impatto drammatico della voce.
Were you not taught to tongue your notes? Or did the sheet music not specify?
Oh this posture must hurt, huh?

I was wondering the same thing!
