Did Christiane ever live in Brussels and work for the Academie Royale du Musique? I had a flute teacher called Christiane when I lived in Brussels. (I can't remember her surname). I was in Brussels 1990-91
Thank you so much for uploading this music. Is this edition 'Billaudot'? 'Giuseppe Verdi (1813-1901) Arranged by Paul Agricole Genin (1832-1903) Revised by Alain Marion Opus 18' RSVP
I feel that way about a great deal of the Flute repertoire...pure fluff, but I won't weigh in here on this music. I would like to know what you consider interesting or important. I'm not trying to challenge your opinion, just asking. I'll go first on my likes; The Poulenc, esp. the 2nd Most. The Second Movement of the Rodrigo and the adaptation of the Guitar Concierto Galway did. The Boccherini in D (I had Marion's L.P. record).
@@robertgiles9124 I find important many pieces of XVIII century (Bach, C. P. E. Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Blavet...) and XXth century (Prokofiev, Poulenc, Varese, Berio, Jolivet, Sciarrino....)
