Did Christiane ever live in Brussels and work for the Academie Royale du Musique? I had a flute teacher called Christiane when I lived in Brussels. (I can't remember her surname). I was in Brussels 1990-91

Marion is one of my preferred flutist....but this music is not important, boring.....only a gym exercise...

I feel that way about a great deal of the Flute repertoire...pure fluff, but I won't weigh in here on this music.
I would like to know what you consider interesting or important. I'm not trying to challenge your opinion, just asking.
I'll go first on my likes; The Poulenc, esp. the 2nd Most. The Second Movement of the Rodrigo and the adaptation of the Guitar Concierto Galway did. The Boccherini in D (I had Marion's L.P. record).

@@robertgiles9124 I find important many pieces of XVIII century (Bach, C. P. E. Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Blavet...) and XXth century (Prokofiev, Poulenc, Varese, Berio, Jolivet, Sciarrino....)

Un pezzo bruttissimo!! Grande flautista comunque....ma perchè suonare un brano musicale così?
