Megadeth are the greatest Thrash metal band of all time.. Some will dispute this.. But Dave Mustaine is untouchable.. Over 4 decades of pioneering the genre. Youll enjoy it all.. Even when they get into the pop sound in the 90s.. To present day... They are releasing some of their best stuff right now.
'Angel of Death' is a killer track and definitely one to be listened to. I would like to suggest a lesser listened to track, 'Reborn'. It's one of my favorite tracks on the album. 'Reborn' is just over 2 minutes long, so it would be great for a 2 song review.
If you liked the vocal cadence of 'Take No Prisoners' you will like 'Lucretia' as well. Plus the solo in 'Lucretia' is better with Marty playing the first half and Dave playing the second half. From Megadeth's first album, "Killing Is My Business..." check out 'Rattlehead'. Similar in speed to 'Take No Prisoners', but with Chris Poland playing solos. Also you will need to listen to 'Good Mourning/Black Friday' and 'My Last Words', both off the second album, "Peace Sells..." If you love bass, you need to listen to 'My Last Words'. Also, in case no one has said this yet, make sure you listen to the original album and not the remastered of "Rust In Peace". Some vocal tracks were changed out because the original vocal tracks were lost. The replacement vocals are not as good as the original tracks. Keep it up. Megadeth fans are very loyal, and you will get more views, though it might take some time to find y'all.
Dave went back & rerecorded all the vocals & some of the guitars & it sounds like shit compared to the 91 original. Ntm he forgot the lyrics to Five Magics
