The kings guards are the most impressive Soldiers on the planet. When I look at them I see Centuries of tradition, the bravest of the brave exemplified by the charge of the light brigade in the Crimea War in 1854. Hope they realize this as reason they are such a huge tourist attraction, its like time travel back to an earlier age of Knights in shining armour❤❤

I love seeing the Indian ladies in their beautiful saris, they look so elegant.
How long does the horse & Guard stand there for? The horse is restless!
They are on duty in the box for 1 hour at a time.
Some of these guards are awesome with special needs children and literally go out of their way to be helpful, especially taking photos with them. Maybe he has a brother or sister who is special needs. The only annoying thing is that other tourists immediately take advantage of the situation and try to grab at the horse when it was a kind gesture, just only meant for the special needs child. Proof no good deed goes unpunished with these entitled tourists, who think that the guards and horses are there for their entertainment only. God help us and save us from stupid tourists. 🙄

Why is it such a big deal to have your picture taken with the King's Guard anyway? It's like a tourist attraction, but the poor horses...bad enough they have to stand there, with the rider on their backs for so long, let alone have to put up with everything from some of these tourists.
