I just streamed a 44:09 run on the PS4 version. I had no idea the chainsaw was so useful for movement and that it could be used as a spring when falling from really tall heights lol, wish i had watched this video BEFORE i did my run, getting the sub-45 minute speedrun trophy wouldn't have taken so many tries, although i suppose they'll have helped me prepare for Hardest and Impossible difficulties which i'm dreading.
I decided to dance into the fire and went straight for the hardest difficulty. It's definitely hard. I've died what feels like hundreds of times as I inch further into each level and figure out the enemy spawn points only to die and have to start again but when you reach the end, massive sense of achievement. I figured if I can finish it on the hardest then the speedruns on hard should seem manageable
@@paulharper4196 The speedrun achievement/trophy is much harder than you would think because you can only die a few times, depending on which stage you die on and how much time it takes to redo the stage. You pretty much have to have each stage memorized and on the last world make sure to be really accurate with your railgun. The dance club stage and the 2nd to last stage are a nightmare because of the huge number of floating police cars/buzzsaw enemies.
Does grabbing items in Extermination mode automatically spawn enemies? I'm just playing the game casually and the speedrun doesn't really look that difficult so far. Casually trying to kill every enemy and getting every item and damn Im getting frustrated.
How long did you play Butcher?Youre so good at this game Besides since you seem to be an expert in this kind of game in general do you know games similar to butcher?

No in harder modes you don't get health packs at all are you getting more bullets
