I just understand the words "kaiser", "führer" , "blietzkrieg" and the other stereotypical words in german. But this songs motivates me to learn this marvelous language. It sounds extremely good and powerful.
The concept of "Blitzkrieg" didn't exist in rhe 3rd Reich. They acknowledged that the Allied Forces used this term to describe the Nazi tactics but also noted this to be weird. "Blitzkrieg" was never used in the German military command. It was only popularized post-war by the myth of the "german war-machine" while in reality a vast majority of their military were simple cavalry and infantry troops. They didnt have nearly as many tanks as mainstream culture makes you believe - and even the ones they had were terrible - constantly breaking down before seeing battle.
Unfortunatily austria had never a marxist leninist party. The only communist party was anti lenin, i bet it would've turned out much different if they had.

Was interested also and searched for the answer. It seems, the SDPs fighters from Schutzbund were fighting with communists against the government (however the party itself was against it). So, though communist banner would be probably more appropriate, the arrows still can be relatable
The three antifascist arrows are clearly anti-communist. They originate from a well known poster the SPD made back in the 30s with the slogan "gegen papen, gegen hitler, gegen thälmann" since armed struggle against the freikorps was against the SPD's and Hindenburg's political line
@@ΚΩΝΣΤΑΝΤΙΝΟΣΠΟΛΙΑΣ The three arrows were created a year before that poster by marxists Sergei Chakhotin and Carlo Mierendorf and was not originaly meant to be anti-communist. The symbol was reinterpreted several time by varius anti-fascist, anarchist, socialist, and communist groups.
It was the symbol of a german pro-republican unification by the "Reichsbanner schwarz-rot-gold" (the "ancestor" of it which was made in the early years of the weimar republic by the social democrats, the catholics and the liberals, to protect it), the sports society of the SPD (SPD=Socialdemocratic Party of Germany) and the labor unions. The goal of the "Iron Front" (which was It's name) was, to protect the weimar democracy in a very active way. These three arrows can either be interpretated as the three parts of the Iron Front which I mentioned earlier in this comment, or as three arrows who hit the enemies of democracy. The monarchists (primarily represented by the "German National people's party" (DNVP as the german acronyme), the National-socialists who were of course represented by the "National Socialist German Worker's Party" (NSDAP) and mostly personificated by Adolf Hitler. And, last but not least, the communist party of Germany (KPD) which had Ernst Thälmann as the leader in It's last years in the weimar republic. Plus: if you draw these arrows over a swastika, which was the symbol of the Nazi-Party, it totally destroys the swastika. So yes, it was it was the symbol of a social democratic party, but no, it was not in Austria, it was in Germany.

The red flag here is a sort of synecdoche for the vanguard Communist Party, which is supposed to guide the proletariat in building socialism. “Before the paths we pull” doesn’t make sense in English, and voran is an imperative here as I understand it, not a preposition, but if there are native German speakers who disagree they’re probably in the right.

Danke Sehr mein frenude! 🇩🇪👍
@@lopakacooper1668, I don’t know why but German looks like it’s similar to English. I was able to read that with out translating it. You said thank you very my friend. I knew what danke meant, but mien frenude sounds like you’re saying my friend. I translated to see if My German was good and I was right.

That symbol is actually not communist but rather social democratic and anti communist. The three arrows are from the German SPD and say "Against Hitler, Papen and Thälmann". Kinda like a horseshoe theory.
