Adam is extremely intelligent. I do not believe he is nervous. He just takes time relaying his thoughts into words. He will be one of the greatest actors of his generation.
Absolutely, thank you for saying that. People are nervous because he doesn't come up with a fast, linear answer to journalistic questions. Go and have a life! I say. You might find many diverse, slow, erratic, crazy ways of expressing yourself..... actually beautiful and 'normal', whatever that means.
I just think Adam gets really nervous when he is interviewed and begins to ramble without getting to the point. lol. Still love him though.Very talented and genuine guy.
Intj. Intuitives are not linear in their conversation. It's a very abstract way of processing and outputting information. Its why 'linear' or 'sensors' tend to label those who think and speak like this 'nervous' 'weird' 'not normal' .. why can't they just be who they are? Just because people people act different than the norm does not mean they are rambling or nervous
@@Leelanau03 additionally, Jung was discredited, so the Myer Briggs test was relegated to the realm of pseudo-science. And I quote my favourite psych student: "Yeah Myers Briggs isn’t worth the time it takes to do it". Not to mention the fact that even if it were credible, the term "INTJ intuitive" is redundant, because the intuitive is implied by the "diagnosis". So I wouldn't put much stock in that.
That's a rare example of real intelligence and a bit of a personal charisma mixed in one man. Adore you much, Adam, thanks for the extraordinary talent you please your fans with.
I really wish Adam watched his films. He is so remarkable and though we all find flaws in our work and ourselves, he deserves to experience the entirety of the piece without being overly conscientious about the subtle fallacies, only he would be able to detect. He is a theatrical phenomenon and adore his very existence 🥰
I agree, it would be cool to see his reflections on his own work. But I respect his aversion to it. I suspect it's a more serious type of anxiety that extends beyond the normal level of self-consciousness people might feel toward such things.
Happens to me most of the time! It's great! haha If people could, once in their life, let their mind go beyond their scripted, boring life, even stupid interviews could become attractive!! haha
I always want to put him at ease (or hug him, but since he also doesn't like that probably not a good idea).. he seems so lost and insecure and unsure and determined to give thoughtful answers.. ♥ such a baby
Adam was in a noisy place & that likely threw his concentration out, during this interview. He's a great actor and has always delivered such superb performances. I hope he watches his own film work & enjoys it at some point in his life.
There was this short moment of confusion where he's still in the same place most likely the same day and then he's way more all over the place than in the other snippets. Until I started to get "all over the place" very quickly and paused several times to then notice the restaurant/pool bar(?) noises from his side of the screen were pulling at my attention and not noises over here 😂 He might have had the same problem. That was such a good snippet of interview, though! I didn't know the extent of his involvement in Annette. It was interesting hearing him speak about the practical aspect coming to him naturally. The more I learn the more I have to smile about just how much we seem to have in common. It's soothing. And at the same time the things that are different for us are encouraging. It's like "Oh, beautiful, life can be like that for people like us, too". In an odd sense, since we're complete strangers but yet, humans relate to each other in these ways at times. Thank you for sharing this interview.
Adam's golf teacher tells his cab driver driving to a golf course: "Damn driver I wish Driver hits a good driver today on the driving range that we're driving too". ha
I disagree. I thought they were good questions, some he hasn't been asked before. He took his time formulating his thoughts because explaining what he really means seems to be important to him.
SOME French films are theatrical and beautiful for sure, the ones that become popular internationally, but honestly most of them are downright boring and pointless!
@@nikolassodiant2595 Some people are just too lazy for actively using their brains while they watch a movie or listen to music. They want it simple. Once in a while it can be nice and watch an action comedy or something, just float along and have a laugh. But in the long run I find that pretty boring. A movie like 'Annette' takes an audience that observes, listens, is aware of what happens on the screen. And, actually you have better understanding after you watched it AT LEAST twice. There's so much going on, and it's difficult to catch everything. 3 or 4 times is my recommendation. That may seem ridiculous, but I seriously mean it. 🤩😍💖
You're entitled to your opinion, but I find him the opposite. He's very intelligent and has great insights into what he does for a living. Not being interested in a subject doesn't mean it's boring.
Maybe the fact that they’ve asked him those questions three thousand million times has something to do with it. Also, the guy literally flew from USA to Cannes and back to USA that very night cause his shooting a film 🤣🤣 cut the poor guy some slack! Anyway, I didnt see anything wrong with anything he said, he was also nice, friendly and down to earth

@@Leelanau03 anxiety is a totally normal thing and Driver exhibits a lot of common traits of the anxious. No one is saying it makes him weird.

Interviewer: How are you today, Adam?
Adam: I, um, am not sure how I would answer that question. I haven't really thought about it.
hahahahah to every question! it's adorable

For some people it is impossible to view their work in an objective way even when it reaches final product. Perfectionism can be a curse.
He loves acting, but the red carpet stuff he is always nervous about. He’s so sweet and humble though ^.^
Missed you Adam Driver
Genuine dude. Love that he collaborated with Leos.
One of the best actors out there today.
Annette is such a great cinematic experience 🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆
His body is here, but his mind is somewhere else, I know that feeling...

Haha he's something else entirely lol like a human piece of art. 👍magnificent 👏
I'm psyched for this movie and it comes out on my birthday!
Love Adam Driver! The awkwardness in his interviews is endearing.
amazing movie.... best musical since 1980's All That Jazz... true Art!

Absolutely, oozes class and intelligence, oscar soon
4:06 They are called 'Sparks', no?
This movie looks and sounds amazing.
2:02 the interviewer's face is very relatable XD
Adam Driver needs to play Joey Ramone in a Ramones biopic.
Or Roger Waters in a Pink Floyd biopic.
Ojalá haga otras películas con adam Driver y daisy ridley
Adoro.⭐⭐⭐
luv his ratty shirt

How is that a ratty shirt?
@@ed1rko17 it's crinkled. he probably rolled it up and threw it in his suitcase. love it
He said "one of the best directors of all time." Why change it to "working today"?
Parce que c'est too much
because scorsese sucks now

Angeles photos at the back haha, did she let people use her room or something? so cute and LOVE Adam as always
Kylo just taking a break from Rey. Lol

I'm sorry :(
