Got one a few years ago for 5 dollars. It looked worn but I immediately saw the beauty in the watch and managed to clean it up. I fell in love with the movement once we opened it up to do some checkups on the watch. I now use the watch as a daily driver and I really love it. I have the 27 jewel parawater autodater version. Best 5 bucks I've ever spent in my life.
@@farfromflaccid I really do, I have lots of watches but this is still my favorite watch. I'm also lucky we know a watchmaker so he's the guy that does maintenance and looks for parts on this watch. Unfortunately he admits that some parts now are impossible to find so I really take care of this watch. I can only find a handful of citizen jets in my country and they're not even the same model as my watch.
