    Paula’s Choice 2% BHA is a HOLY grail for me. It is the only product that has transformed my pores and skin texture. IMO I would rather spend my skincare budget on this product and buy affordable cleaning balms, cleansers, and moisturizers. I’m serious, that product is my skincare weapon. I can’t go a night without it!

      So true. I'd rather have a small ingredient list TBH. It does the job without a big list of extra things that I don't need. Plus Paula's choice regularly has coupons and their jumbo BHA was on sale in the Nordstrom anniversary sale. 🙌

    The Paula's choice 2% bha exfoliant is indeed on the pricier side, but if you use it smartly, it lasts a veery long time. Mine is already almost one year old and I haven't finished it yet. With 2 people using it regularly ( 2-3 times a week).
    So: don't put it on a cotton bud, just straight up on your face and blend it in. 2 drops cover the whole face

    Re: the salicylic acid, I actually prefer PC precisely because it doesn't have all those other actives or long list of ingredients. I purposely do my lactic or glycolic separately from my salicylic. Also, I like that it has the green tea for calming.

    • @kaylan2083
      @kaylan2083 2 года назад +14

      I'm not sure if she's actually used it or if she's just looking at the ingredients and saying which one is "best". The latter feels like it's not a fair comparison if she's never used it. 🤔
      Totally agree with you. I just want an acne clearing product. I don't need all the extra stuff that's going to clog my pores. I use other skincare on the days I don't use the PC AHA/BHA. As far as price point goes, Paula's Choice has coupon codes all the time for discounts. Not to mention the Nordstrom anniversary sale had a jumbo 8oz size on sale this summer.

Snail is an amazing ingredient and I didn't realize how much my skin would love it. It does all the right things. Getting another bottle of it and definitely their acne toner now.

    Enjoyed the video! Two recs to put on your radar in light of these products: 1) the Elf Happy Hydration cream is also excellent. Hemp oil based w Niacinamide & peptides. Great price, lovely texture. (Very similar to the Sisley cucumber moisturizer, if you’ve ever tried that.) 2) for a cleaning balm, you should also try the Neutrogena makeup remover cleansing balm. It’s even cheaper than good molecules, fragrance free, & rinses right off. I love it

    You can't measure how much snail is in the product by the percentage of mucin filtrate quoted. A 3% filtrate could have a higher amount of snail than a 90% filtrate because they're just that. FIltrates. So, depending on how theyre extracted and purified and made, each brand's filtrate has different amounts and quality of snail. COSRX probably has a higher percentage of actual snail, leading to the price difference.

    • @elithluxe7568

      Isn’t it snail mucin that is in these product? Because you are making it sound like the snails are killed and grinded up into these snail mucin products with “different amounts of and quality of snail”. You mean “different amounts and quality of snail mucin” right? Asking this because I use animal cruelty products and this does not sound pleasant at all

    LOVE peach slices acne cleanser. The snail one wasn’t quite enough for me compared to cosrx. The toner is seeming to be good too.

    I've been enjoying Peach Slices cleanser and moisturiser. Hardly anyone talks about them. They cleared my skin of the tiny bumps on my forehead and at my temples. I'm on the fence with the elf cream because I've gotten into korean skincare and omg my mature skin is luminous. Fyi I'm using Thank you Farmer and Numbuzin. If you haven't yet, watch beauty cookie, euniunni, Soo beauty. They are fun to watch too

    Just was wondering if you have tried any of the JoAh beauty products? I have recently discovered this brand and love a few products. I like the CC foundation and their gel eyeliner. They just came out with a new foundation called Crystal Glow Primedation.. I have not tried it yet. It’s coming in the mail. You can purchase this line in CVS or their website. I would love to see what you think. Thanks Lia

    Abbey, YAH GIRL! You have done it again 👏! I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SKINCARE & have learned that more $$ doesn't necessarily mean better...I have been able to find a few "DUPES" just by happenstance but, when someone as AWESOME AS YOU 😘🥰 does the hard work for me well: SPEECHLESS! I love the Tatcha Brand but, unfortunately my wallet does NOT! I actually have the Elf Moisturizer that I ordered a while back but, with my extremely sensitive, acne prone, oil slick face I haven't started it yet (waiting until finished adding a new product in right now; ya know what a hassle that is...LOL 🤣😂)...NOW I CAN'T WAIT TO USE IT, THANX TO YOU 🥰! Keep being the BEAUTIFULLY GORGEOUS LADY YOU ARE MA'AM!

    The new COSRX snail mucin dual radiance essence is so amazing, I'll never use anything in it's place
    Also, I like the GM balm but I find it doesn't really get my mascara off that well. You can purchase a mini version of the PC salicylic acid if someone wants to try it for less money

    • @demonslayer4951
      @demonslayer4951 2 года назад +2

      It's not. It's like film left in your face once it dries. It never made my face soft/smooth, it's just sitting on ur face, and it's not hydrating.

    • @parisinthe30sx
      @parisinthe30sx 2 года назад +2

      @@demonslayer4951 that's your opinion. Not everyone skin is the same. It soaked right into my skin leaving no film, and was the only thing that actually helped my flakiness so, sucks it didn't work for you but it does for me

    What about Hada Labo Premium? It’s not sticky, contains 7 different hyaluronic acid, and also contains urea which is a component of our skin’s NMF.
