    • @joannej_Youtube
      @joannej_Youtube 3 года назад +14

      This is so true! I wasn't even able to use fragrance in a cleanser or makeup a few years ago, but now I can tolerate it in some products, as long as it's good quality and not too intense. I've even come to enjoy it, lol. Tatcha is a great example of a luxury brand that checks all the boxes, from packaging to user experience to results.

    tatcha SAVED MY ASS after accutane. Made my skin smooth, gave back hydration to my skin, and my scars aren’t as bad and tbh for someone who’s sensitive AF to fragrance this one doesn’t bother my skin and it smells AMAZING would highly recommend the dewy skin cream and the rice cleanser

  • @sofimendoza7882

    I've been an avid Tatcha user for the past 3 years and I can definitely agree that it's pricey, but so very worth it. My essence bottle actually lasted me a whole year of use and that to me makes the price a little more worth it since it lasts a very long time. I've used all of the moisturizers, but I have to say, my favorites are the dewy skin cream and the silk cream. The silk cream, in my opinion, is the star of the line up of moisturizers they have. I'm sensitive to fragrance, but none of the Tatcha moisturizers have given me any sort of reaction or flared my seborrheic dermatitis along my hairline. I also tried the first aid beauty repair cream and it burned my face, which was definitely alarming. But if I were to recommend anything from the brand, it would definitely be the kissu lip mask, the silk cream and violet-c radiance mask because they consistently repair my dead dry skin every week I use it lol.

While I never tried Tatcha but heard only gud things from 2 RUclipsrs idk if it's worth that price and I just might ask my sister if it's worth the hype/ price since she uses it... But from price perspective idk if the ingredients justify the price but only way of knowing is by trying it I guess ... If it's u get what u pay for then maybe

    I tried Tatcha for the first time two years ago and I’ve never looked back. I’m obsessed. Especially with the water cream. It’s amazing for my oily skin 😍 it absorbs so well. I’m concerned on the people you’re talking to 😂 water based moisturizers are meant for people with oily skin so if you don’t have oily skin then you probably shouldn’t use it.

    • @Michaelabeauty96

      I have oily skin and personally didn’t enjoy the water cream I just felt like it didn’t do enough and the smell in tatcha definitely broke me out I get it not everyone is the same but based on my experience just didn’t work well I would say the Bliss drench and quench is similar in concept to the water cream but does better at balancing in hydration for me and it does have some fragrance but it’s not overpowering for me Edit: I just noticed he had recommended another alternative but I have not used that one

A good serum is the ordinary or the inkey list niacinimide serum. A good moisturizer would be first aid beauty coco gel moisturizer or the inkey list peptide moisturizer. A good sunscreen would either be the dear klairs soft UV filter sunscreen or the Purito centella unscented sunscreen. The Paulas Choice salicylic acid 2% exfoliant is good for acne prone skin. If your skin isn’t sensitive the the ordinary 20% aha 2% bha peeling solution might be good for you. If your skin is sensitive, then a good mask would be Peter Thomas Roth cucumber gel mask or herbivore blue tansy mask. Hopefully this helps you!

    I actually love the Water Cream. And I think I commented on your last Tatcha review video that the Water Cream works really really well with the Essence Water.

    Skincare products aside, the one thing I appreciate about Tatcha that is so uncommon in like 90% of luxury brands, is that they are curelty free. It seems like a small thing, but i think it's actually huge. Also fragrance aside, they do use some pretty interesting ingredients at decent concentrations unlike other luxury brands that are charging $400 for a shea butter with glycerin moisturizer 🙈🤷‍♂️

    The ingredients are amazing and my skin really loves it. Yes they are expensive but the essence has lasted me a year. The rice polish, using it a few times a week has lasted me over a year and I still have about half left. The indigo cream is the only thing I can use during the winter. I actually love the water cream for summer. And the dewy skin cream is my favorite. Every time I switch to something else I notice a difference in my skin right away. With that said I think the luminous deep hydration serum has alcohol in it and it’s high on the list, which is odd since it would do the opposite of hydration. The vitamin c was great too but with the aha in it it was too strong for me. Camellia cleansing oil is still the best oil cleanser Ive ever used but it is pricey.

Its a perfect formula for hot humid weather country where the cream burst into water and my skin just drink it str8 away without stickiness etc and i can see drastic improvement on my skin such as brightness,supplecity, and i just Dont get it with people who demonized fragranced skincare like please its 2020.
