Peach Slices has quickly become my favorite skincare line. I swear by the snail toner (even though I feel like it should be labeled an essence) and the newer Deep Moisture cream and my skin LOVES them. Totally agree with their marketing/packaging. I would’ve never given them a change if it weren’t for you and a few other influencers raving about them!
For sure, until I saw Abby rave it in her videos (after I saw Rudi Berry also rave talk about the toner and mask) that's when I started looking for it.
So happy to hear that you’re planning on talking about cruelty-free more! 👏🏼👏🏼 There’s really no reason these companies should be testing on animals anymore. So, thank you Abbey!!! 🤍🤍🤍
I shop cruelty free! Leaping Bunny, Ethical Elephant, and Cruelty Free Kitty are fantastic resources, I’d start with Leaping Bunny first. I think Ethical Elephant also has a section on their site featuring brands that ethically source mica.
I'd love to see more about cruelty free & more sustainable / "earth-friendly" products. Cruelty Free Kitty is always my go-to for reliable info about cruelty free brand status.
I would love to see more content about vegan and cruelty-free beauty products!! I am vegan and love your channel so it would be awesome to see some new cruelty-free and vegan product recommendations.
Peach slices Azeleic acid has become my number 1 Azeleic acid product for my rosacea! You’re so right about where its placed in ulta, I was hesitate to try them until I took a deep dive on their ingredient lists.
Agree 👌 silicones are actually great even though they have been vilified I used to buy into the whole clean beauty hype but learned with the advancement in science research it all comes to ingredient quality and formulation.
Yeah I bought the cetaphil balm a couple months ago because I was going through a bad eczema flare up so I bought several balms lol I was impressed by it and I agree it’s so moisturizing without being greasy.
I freaking love peach slices exfoliation toner. It's so so good. I use it on my teen sons. It's that good. It isn't harsh on the skin and I have super sensitive skin. I just bought 3 at cvs yesterday in fact. It is that good. Can't be out of it. I am 45 for reference and it doesn't dry out my already dry sensitive skin. Run!!!! 😊 thanks.
@@AbbeyYung u list a few peach slice products but what would be thr order u would use them in for someone with dry, very acne prone skin? I keep hearing people get acne from these?
I first used the Neutrogena body oil in about 1984 and ever since. Love the stuff straight out of the shower on wet skin, it keeps me smooth and silky. 10 out of 10. Never thought to use it for cleanser
I would love to hear more about vegan and cruelty-free products! I've been trying to shop that way for a while, and also just got into science-based skincare and haircare videos on youtube, so I'm trying to mesh the 2 things together. I got sucked into the curly girl hair method a few years back and am having to un-learn some things that I learned there that aren't true. I would also like to know more about parabens, because I've heard a lot about them being bad, but I don't know if any of that is based on science. What are your thoughts on parabens?
You are such a gem here on RUclips, thank you for your research and help. I've learned so much especially about haircare and sometimes can't believe the things I used to do to mine 😬
I have extremely acne prone skin and ANYTHING with dimethicone in the first few ingredients will break me out horribly. It took me years to figure why all the top recommended skin products broke me out when others swore they were noncomedogenic and amazing (cerave, cetaphil, cicaplast) Once I started using silicone free serums, moisturizers, primers, and foundation my skin has never been better. I also had to get rid of anything with mineral oil, shea butter, and coconut oil. Everyone is different though and I’m jealous of those who can use dimethicone products with no issues! Wound love to see more vegan and cruelty free products too, thanks for looking into those
I ❤️❤️❤️ the Peach Slices Acne Exfoliating Toner so much. I’ve never tried the Paula’s Choice BHA but good to hear so many people think the Peach Slices ones is as good as or better than Paula’s Choice.
Agree with you on Peach Slices! Have reactive/sensitive skin and enjoying their Snail Rescue All in One deep moisturizing cream. Sounds heavy but it’s not. Lots of amazing ingredients!
I couldn't tell by the video if you do but when I use cleansing balms (love them!) I emulsify them with water before wiping off. The balm turns into a milky fluid and it's super easy to remove the makeup, sunscreen and the balm itself.
Eucerin Advanced Repair Hand Cream is a product with similar hydrating and fast drying properties. It is 3 oz and cheaper than Cetaphil price. Love the stuff and so nice on hands since they aren't greasy or slippery.
I just wanted to stop by and say that your skin and makeup always look flawless! You are so beautiful and you are one of my favorite RUclips creators :)
So happy to hear you're going to be talking more about cruelty free and vegan products! Good for you :) Logical Harmony knows her sh*t. Defs a good source to use.
I absolutely love the peach slices snail mucin line. I’ve always found that ingredient soothing, and I never would have noticed this brand if you hadn’t mentioned it. I use their toner, and I liked it so well I bought the moisturizer for day use because I’m oily. I’m also using tretinoin 5-6 days a week (working up to nightly!), and I feel like this is helping keep my barrier healthy. Great prices- I stocked up during Ulta’s fall haul sale.
The LRP Ultra Night Cream isn’t moisturizing enough on its own for my dry skin, but it does work well to add a moisture layer beneath another moisturizer. (Ditto the day cream.) I always prefer cruelty-free products. I can only justify buying those potentially tested on animals if there is a medical need that can’t be met otherwise. And you’re looking gorgeous!
Cetaphil released a balm months before this new one. The old one is petroleum based with shea butter. That one feels more like a traditional balm, while the new one feel more silicony and lightweight.
Definitely going to give Peach Slices a try, esp the toner! I use CeraVe baby lotion on my face cause it's so good, you're right, can definitely use body products on your face 😀
I LOVE Peach Slices. I found the makeup cleansing pudding and highlighting moisturizer first on clearance at CVS , and was more than pleasantly surprised. The pudding removed all makeup and spf, and the moisturizer is lightweight while still being hydrating. And it really does have a highlighting effect to the skin that is glowy but not glittery. But I agree with you that the exfoliating toner is next level. It has all the power of my other exfoliating toners, BUT DOES NOT STING AT ALL. I was, and still am, a huge fan of Pixi’s Glow Tonic - I find it does give a glow and is less irritating than most exfoliating toners, but it still can sting. I always use a toner like these after I shave/dermaplane my face, and Peach Slices Toner is the only one that does not sting at all while still exfoliating and brightening the face (and helps with shaving irritation.) Not to mention it has both BHA & AHA’s, along with some hydrating, soothing, brightening ingredients too. And at its price point, I don’t think it can be beat. I’m dying to try their other products, especially the blemish busting toner. I’m curious to know more of your thoughts on it and PS other items? The BB Toner reads more like an essence than toner - like it would be good to follow up after the exfoliating toner as more of an essence? Thanks!
Would you consider doing a video about the order in which you should do your skincare routine (I.e. the order you put products on the skin) and what each product does……for example- what’s an essence and when/how should it be applied?
I swear you and I are the same person 😂 I use so many of the same products as you use. I love Peach Slices, and I’m almost done with the AHA toner. I really love it and will he repurchasing it. I also bought the Bliss Youth Got This Prevent-4 Pure Retinol Moisturizer and LOVE IT! I do use it at night at the end of my skincare routine. Even though I use script Tretinoin, I use the Bliss retinol cream afterwards because it has so many other great ingredients in it, like…Xylitol, Xylitylglucoside, Saccharides, Peptide 5, Peptide 8, Anhydroxylitol, and so many more great ingredients. I’m telling ya, my face feels like silk in the morning from that cream. It also works well in the morning as my final step, and makes my makeup look soooo good. There are SO MANY amazing skincare products, and makeup, at drugstore prices these days. There really is no reason to spend a fortune nowadays. We can get the same amazing ingredients for much lower prices than high end products. Back in the day we had to spend the money to get those great ingredients, but not anymore! 🙏🏼 oh…Good Molecules makes an amazing Glycolic Acid toner with amazing ingredients in it too, like galactomyces, I love that ingredient in my skincare
I’ve been using the neutr body oil for months after starting accutane and it is the most hydrating product I’ve ever used. You won’t be greasy and your skin will feel insane.
I just turned my sister on to the neutrogena body oil, I always get compliments on the smell! it's so good, all day moisture, not greasy at all and the smell is divine!
I read something about how studies showed titanium dioxide as even potentially being problematic, so Zinc not only being better coverage but the best option environmentally (from what we know). People forget what we wash off of our bodies goes through drains that have to go somewhere. With science though, nothing is set in stone (new info. always comes in/evolves), so trying your best & acknowledging that what's out there isn't always a definitive answer is the best one can do, but respect to you for caring about the dispersal of well-researched/sourced info. That needs to be more valued these days.
Great video as always, Abbey! I also love Peach Slices, and I've been using that Neutrogena oil for years and love it. I'm definitely going to check out the Cetaphil cracked skin balm, it sounds like just what I need for fall/winter. Thank you! 💞
Oh I use Peach Slices snail muchin cleanser and it works so good! Love it! Also, Good Molecules Pineapple/Rice exfoliating powder is amazing too! I’d love to see a comparison with this and the Tatcha Rice powder. I really think Good Molecules is a dupe for the Tatcha. Good Molecules has most of the ingredients Tatcha has in theirs. I use the Good Molecules powder every morning and evening. I actually mix the powder in the palm of my hand with my Peach Slices snail cleanser, suds it up in my hands and wash my face with the mixture, and love it!
Can you review the e.l.f. skincare product line? The list of ingredients looks legit, but I'd love your take on the best and worst they have to offer. Is the very low cost even worth it?
I am on my way to Ulta to try Bliss and Peach slices. I’m looking to replace Clinique Take The Day Off Balm. I’m hoping bliss will be it! Thank you for always bringing us excellent content💕
I know I'm way late to the party, but I just discovered cleansing balms. Bliss seems to look a lot like the one I'm trying which is Elemis. Have you tried both? Abbey, I love your videos, so helpful and fun to watch! Most beauty channels can put me to sleep! Lol
Thanks for giving the tip about removing the Bliss Cleansing Balm with a microfiber towel. I was using it following the instructions on the jar and it did seem to leave a residue. Will try the towel method tonight. By the way, LOVE your content. 🙂
Thank you for finding the bliss cleansing balm! I've been looking for a replacement for my favorite, elemis, since it's so expensive. I tried this bliss one and I love it! Great find!
Agree about Peach Slices and Ulta. When I went to an Ulta near me, there were only a few products and it was on a wire rack on the side of a haircare display.
I'm going to look at the peach slice products for my daughter and the la Roche possay I've loved for years it has many ranges with different benefits Great review
Lifehack with that Neutrogena oil. I’m not a huge fan of it as a cleansing oil (I prefer something thicker, but it certainly works that way). What I do with it is whenever I take a bath I add a fair bit to the water and it prevents the bath from drying out my skin. I use this specifically because the emulsifiers in it help it disperse evenly throughout the water. Highly recommend, especially for the winter.
Neutrogena body oil definitely has fragrance 😊 Still a good product, but saying it for folks who prefer or need fragrance free. As an alternative, skin-grade sesame oil can be found at any health food store (in the beauty aisle, not the cooking oil aisle) for $10-15.
Yes yes peach slices So underrated. I snagged the snail intense deep moisture cream in the Ulta 21 days. It’s amazing. going to try more. Watching your peaches video now. Going to try the new cetaphil for slugging. I’m one of those that the grassy starts to bother me. Great video as always. I appreciate all your hard work. Hugs from Tampa.
Love your videos! I love when you let us know about products like Peach Slices. I’d never heard of Tea Tree products either and I bought every freaking tea tree scrub (from your other video on the Ulta haul) and love love love them! So much better than Kopari and other overpriced scrubs. Will definitely try Peach Slices because you always recommend great products. Thank you!
I started buying Peach slices for my tween son and it works wonders. Now I’ll start buying it for myself. I am 50 but have very sensitive normal to dry skin with mild rosacea so the redness relief sounds right up my alley! Thanks for the wonderful recommendations! ❤
I had been using a fabulous makeup remover oil I found on Amazon. When I went to last order it, the price was way higher than it had been (I know, I know...the price of everything is higher these days!!). So I bought the Neutrogena body oil you mentioned. It worked well. I always remove that with a makeup remover cloth then go in for my 'real' cleanse. On a lark, I bought a makeup removing oil off ebay, Dr Sevinor, and it blew my mind the first time I tried it. First off, I lightly rinse it off with water b/c the oil emulsifies and turns into a milky cleanser. After I used the water I wiped everything off with my makeup remover cloth and there was nothing on it... no traces of the foundation that's usually left. Totally blew my mind. I thought for sure I'd go back to the Neutrogena but nope. That will remain my backup in the future if I can't find this one. Yes, it's a tad more expensive but sometimes you have to buy the product that works best for you. And this one does. Another excellent video!!
I’m def goin to check out peach slices. I recently went cruelty free and have been looking for a replacement for my face wash and moisturizer for sensitive skin.
I found Peach Slices from this channel! Specifically the deep moisture lotion. I use it daily! It must be gaining in popularity because my Ulta has an entire display in the center aisle. Love it!
If you want help digging through all the research on environmentally conscious products, Shelbizleee is another RUclipsr who is so knowledgeable about this stuff. I would love to see you guys collaborate!
I love nuetragena's rain bath body wash the original (Amber colored one) scent its a cult classic ;) they have other scents too but the original is my fave.
I only buy cruelty-free products and always refer to Logical Harmony’s blog to check a brand! She has a lot of articles explaining what cruelty-free is and isn’t. Also, the Leaping Bunny certification is the most thorough cruelty-free certification
I’m pretty sure that Dr Dray is the one who figured out that the Neutrogena Body Oil would work as a makeup removing cleansing oil because of the added PEG-40, which works as a surfactant and cleansing agent.
Peach Slices has been around for awhile. I love my highlighter moisturizer by PS. It’s great to use as a pre make up primer and has a nice added glow touch. Holds my make up well because it does have that sticky feel but it does what it’s supposed to. I love Elf cleansing balm which is so gentle on my skin. I love the texture. Similar to Farmacy one. I gotta try the cetaphil balm.
I'm finally ready to reintroduce a chemical exfoliant to my routine and I'm going to be picking up that Peach Slices Acne Exfoliating Toner thanks to recommendations from you and James Welsh! I will also be checking out the Bliss Pre/Post Biotics line as well because who doesn't love barrier repair products?!
I truly appreciate you focusing more on cruelty free, etc. products. SO important.

I have a tween son with some beginning acne issues… what products did you buy for your son?
I love Peach Slices! I use the toner you mentioned the Acne Clarifying Cleanser, Snail Rescue Toner and Moisturizer.
I love cruelty free products! I won’t buy if they aren’t.
Agree
GREAT VIDEO! I am trying to avoid purchasing items that require shipping to HELP SAVE OUR PLANET! Love to see more.
PEACH SLICES SNAIL SERUM IS LIFE CHANGING
I’m def goin to check out peach slices. I recently went cruelty free and have been looking for a replacement for my face wash and moisturizer for sensitive skin.
I found Peach Slices from this channel! Specifically the deep moisture lotion. I use it daily! It must be gaining in popularity because my Ulta has an entire display in the center aisle. Love it!
I need to try some of these!
I think dr dray has talked about peach slices quite a few times. ❤
I switched from the Burt’s bees cleansing oil to this nuetrogena per your recommendation. Thank you ! Love that’s is fragrance free
Logical Harmony is well known for doing the research to make sure brands are cruelty free
Been using the La Roche Posay Toleriane Ultra Night Cream for months now. Love it!
Do you wet your microfiber towel before using it to remove the cleansing balm? Or are you removing it with the dry towel?
Love the Cetaphil it's the best I'm using this currently
So good!!
I am going to try the Bliss balm. Do you do a second cleanse with a different cleanser or just use your cloth to remove it?
My 15 year old son loved the Peach Slices exfoliator toner for the acne on his cheeks. It also helped him with the hyperpigmentation after that.
I believe Derma e is vegan, cruelty free and environmentally friendly and their products are amazing. My skin has never been in better condition 🙌🏻
Yay I absolutely love peach slices! They have great online sales too ❤
Thx for the Peach slices tip!
I only buy cruelty-free products and always refer to Logical Harmony’s blog to check a brand! She has a lot of articles explaining what cruelty-free is and isn’t. Also, the Leaping Bunny certification is the most thorough cruelty-free certification
Peach Slices needs so much more hype! I recommend them to everyone who ask me for help
Awesome video! Thanks! Going to try the first 2 products you shared!
I agree about the Neutrogena body oil. Occasionally I can find it on sale at Walgreens and then I stock up!
Robyn Wise, Dr Dray is a good one for skin care.
Wow peach slices seems like an amazing brand that no one is talking about. I’d love to see a more in depth review of their products
I've been using the Neutrogena Body Oil for 30+ years and won't be without it. I don't use it as an oil cleanser but may give it a try.
I started using the peach slices snail mucin (in lieu of the CosRx) based on your recommendation. I love it and got some for my daughter too.
