Yes sure, I will put it here so it’s easier and everyone else can see as well: 4 stems of eucalyptus 1.5 packets of leather leaf 5 stems of Thelaspi 10 stems of white roses 4 stems of pale blue delphinium 4 stems of white snapdragon 2 stems of pale blue hydrangea We also need a single floral foam tray, 1 brick of floral foam, floristry tape, floristry scissors and normal scissors Hope this helps xxx
For those reading make sure your stems are in, not just the tips. Also try to put 2 lines of tape vertically and one horizontal these tips are mostly for transport and installation.
Hi lovely! I have never used a saddle before. Normally the funeral directors put a non slip piece of material down and then place the flowers on top. I would argue that this isn’t a concern for the florist xx
hiya jem, flowervision said exactly the same to me, i dont really want to set up as a ltd company until ive built up some sort of a a customer base really.. i currently order my flowers from all occasions wholesale
It’s so much harder to set up an account these days. I think because there are a lot more Florists about that the wholesalers are doubling down on the new customers maybe. There are lots of other options so it’s all good and I’m glad you have found somewhere ❤️ xx
Hi! I followed this tutorial and a lot of my flowers were soft in the morning, I soaked my brick for a while and made sure my stems were in, do you have any advice please?
Hey babes! Oh no, let’s get to the bottom of this 💕 this could be the reason of many factors: (I’m unsure if this was a DIY or a Florist job so I’ll ask all the questions I can below) -Did you get your flowers from a wholesaler? -Did you get your flowers from anywhere but a wholesalers? -Did you get your flowers on the day of making this spray -Where were the flowers left over night? -Was it a hot day? (Not sure if you’re in the UK) as it would be a yes right now in the UK 🥵🤣 -How did you soak the foam? Is there a chance you could have left air pockets in the foam? -What size spray did you do? -How much foliage did you take off the stem and how did you condition your flowers? -How far in did you put the stem into the foam? -Did you use the same flowers as in this tutorial? If not, let me know the flowers that were used and I can debunk this. -Did you use more or less stems or a similar amount to this tutorial? -is the wholesaler you get your flowers from a reliable supplier in terms of freshness? Thank you for this comment as this will be helpful for others too. Jem xxx
@@jemsfloralstudiotheacademy7091 Thanks so much for your helpful response! Your videos have helped me loads, I’m a new business nearly at 1 year! Just started with floral tributes, I was putting off casket sprays as I was anxious, but I gave it a go. I work from home. I got my flowers from the wholesale day before, because I had lots to do for the funeral. My flowers were left in my kitchen as it was cooler than outside! I’m in the UK weather is very hot! I soaked the foam under my hose pipe for a while, how do I know if there are air pockets? I used the same flowers as yourself in the video, same size spray, with the same amount as yourself, wholesaler is usually fine! How do you personally condition your flowers? I think I do this correctly!
In the uk, we don’t make the same type of casket sprays as in the US casket style. We usually just have the standard coffin spray. However I know how to make the casket sprays specific to what you’re talking about. I will make a video on this xx
Could you please list each flower/greenery in the comments? Thanks

Beautiful! 🙏❤️💐
I've gained so much from your videos! Do you need to set the Oasis and tray onto a coffin saddle to display it at the funeral?

Lovely! Is your Mother’s day crazy busy? Here in Canada , our Mother’s day is in May and is insanely busy!💕
Yes, our Mother’s Day is the busiest couple of days of the year. Stress galore! Xx
