I have used wires in boutonnières and they stay fresh for more than 24 hours in the refrigerator in a box with a bit of water sprayed at them. Without a wire they can break off while pinning them on jackets.

Hi Jem enjoying your tutorials. Surely it’s best to place all the folded wrap on top of each other and then cut out the rectangle? Also I think it looks neater to staple your cellophane rather than using all that Sellotape? Watering the bouquet from the top causes the flowers to get all wet and rots the foliage.

Hi gem, you helped me so much with my dad's funeral flowers and everyone commented on how beautiful and professional they looked lots of people said I should do it as a carer however 1 funeral is very different from 100s of events and occasions so its not a route I'm going to take however two of my cousins are getting married next year and want me to do their flowers I'm confident in what I can provide and I have reiterated I have noooo floristry training I just research research research, one thing I am struggling with is how much to order please if you have the time could you give me some tips on how much I should order for example an 8 ft top table garland with Manley green foliage eucalyptus white avalanche roses and spray roses, and how many roses for a bridal bouquet 🫤 I don't want to order too much but I certainly don't want to order too little and how many days before the event should I get them delivered thank you so much in advance sarahxxx
