How To Make A Large Double Ended Spray

- Welcome to our video which shows you how to create a large double ended spray arrangement featuring beautiful white cymbidium orchids. This item would work as a tribute or for event or weddings - imagine it on an altar! We have used some lovely dipped birch twigs to add support for the orchids but also to add a contrast detail. These are beautiful flowers and this is a big arrangement. We hope you enjoy the video!
Ingredients - white cymbidium orchids, white lisianthus / eustoma, eucalyptus, French ruskus, aspidistra, green painted birch twigs, double spray tray and 2 blocks of wet floral foam

@@Dentyden2011 so sorry to hear about your loss. If you are crafty, good hands on with things like cooking or knitting, then I would say it’s possible to make your own, and it’s more special as well. As you can see there is a method - so with the right base, the right ingredients and following a method you should get a good result.
Best tip is to have a good table workspace, and to be left in peace while you make it - distractions are not good. And give all the flowers a good drink before you use them / create the design.
Whatever you do, your mum will love that you have given it thought and attention - even if that’s using a florist who could help. You can include something with meaning - like something from her garden or her favourite flower.

This big arrangement looks great, will someone put it in the church for wedding party 🎉
In Britain this type of design is used for funeral flowers - but it could be adapted with colours and slightly softened to go on an altar for a wedding

Another beautiful creation, I'm amazed at how quickly you put it together, but of course, one needs to prepare all the flowers and foliage before you begin, then you just simply design the arrangement. It is beautiful, and thank you for sharing, I so look forward to making one of these. I will one day and I'll send you a photo! I have made a smaller version for my sisters wedding a few years ago from silk flowers etc. It did look lovely. Thank you for your inspiration, much appreciated. ;)

With your roses, I think I noticed that you didn’t take off the packing petals first? Was that to create more natural texture?
Thank you! I do remove these petals sometimes - it depends on how they are. But a few is more natural, and as the roses open they disappear from the eye anyway. Thanks for watching 😀🌼
