Bro if u do not have mucj experience of thos field then join a big broker firm as Freight broker agent. Many of these offers salary cum profit sharing. Once you handson experience on different softwares provided by your broker company then go ahed and open your firm.

Yes you do. FMCSA wrote a decision on this recently. You need a broker bond if you "arrange freight for shippers or third parties, take payments, disperse payments, or advertise you arrange freight shipments" etc.
