@@budjohnson3349 you also have 4x2 or four wheels two driven, in Britain it is counted as A wheel even if it is a double so an eight wheel lorry may have twelve tyres and if only the rear two axles are driven its an 8x4, its where the confusion can occur when talking trucks between Britain and the US.
My uncle has the 8x8 with 2 24volt out drives controlled by the joystick . Pretty Crazy setup. Idle yhe engine to charge the batteries built in chargers converter's. Needs tracks

And the man collecting firewood?, probably the least damaging way of doing so, its easy to point to people using them for recreation and make statements like that and then miss the practical uses they get put to, very few will have been bought new just to play with they will have come from people like the utility company's.

The same reason you call a four wheel drive truck and 4x4. Four tires and all four are powered. In this case. Eight tires and all eight are powered.
