I have an M7 powered by a repurposed laptop power adapter and I really love it as a desktop power supply, servo and receiver analyser and occasional charger. This looks like the same thing but beefed up for charging so it can only be a very good thing indeed. I also have an M6D as part of my charging station. I love the ToolkitRC stuff!
🤣 That's what i really need. Yesterday i almost lost half of my room. Trying to revive my 3s lipo for my mekamon. Unfortunately the cell was so dead. After 2 hours of charging. The 2 cells puffed so bad. Luckily i got there in time
Can it charge batteries by balance port only ? I got some RC Cars batteries with non XT30/60 plugs and would like to be able to charge them without rigging extra adapters. Like cheap charges that come with cheap RC cars do - they charge by balance port only (I understand that it would be much slower, but usually I don't care).
Wow... That's pretty impressive, Lee! Fantastic! 😮 I have the M6 in my backpack and it's great! It has been my main charger for around 2 years already! But this one is sweet! Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Hi Lee, thanks for the video! A quick question: Does this one, or the M8, provide USB power output (i.e. can I run USB devices from a LiPo using this), and does it display the current/power drawn by the USB device? The latter would be a very useful feature to see how much juice a USB device draws, e.g. if you're thinking about wiring it up to some batteries...
Looks nice! Can you log battery charge/discharge curves onto the SD card? That would be a useful function for keeping track of the health of batteries....
Does anyone know how you would practically use this to charge a UAV battery like, say, Mavic Pro batteries? Obviously these have no XT-60 and balance leads connectors. Are there adapters for charging them?
Ah, had my attention at, if you don't have your glasses ....all to common about my bench. Yes I even have a talking multimeter , use to come in handy as many of the connections were in large machines, where often it took full attention to place the leeds ...I don't miss those days, it was often a tad dangerous, thus the need to pay attention. Take care.
I just received my m9, and on the second day, it only boots up to the voltage calibration screen and doesn't let me do anything, has anyone seen this issue?
You've probably solved the problem by now, but in case you didn't, I would suggest you to check if the wheel is not pressed (or somehow shorted inside the charger's body) when you're turning the charger on. Because holding the wheel button pressed while powering the charger on is what supposed to show the calibration screen.
Have the m8 and m6 . Horrible tools not reliable and needs calibration every month . I dont know how can you recommend this company . Just look at the forums . Their track record is horrible

I need this in my life !
Looks like a nice little tool!
nice bit of kit, stay safe Lee

A great additiion to it would be if it was capable of Programming all Esc's as well. I have 3 x Esc programming cards as I hate beep programming them.

Not that I I can select...
The M8 had a surface mount fuse that was a bit of a pain to change, if you get a chance could you check if they've changed this in the m9?
That issue where users were needing to replace a burned fuse was fixed in firmware. M9 used an SMD fuse
Thenks.amazing

I don't fly DJI here so not the best person to ask. Are there specialised chargers for those batteries with proprietary connectors?
Take a look at the review of the M9 by Whirly Bloke. He shows some DJI to XT60 adapters.
Dose it have a watt meter function?
Doesn't look like it - full details of what is does on the website - www.toolkitrc.com/m9
It would be great if we could test Crossfire or expresslrs receivers on it. 😉

It seems that no one sell this .. what is the price ?
Mentioned in the video... Happy flying
@@Painless360 oh.. i missed it, sorry 🙂
Can you turn off the voice?

The test tools work well here. Happy flying
