@ 3:17 Isn't that also the port for the Temperature sensor cable's Connector ?? Similar to my ToolKitRC to which the customer support replied it being: "external temperature sensor, the size is DS18B20, just as the B6 sensor size. there is NTC resistance inside"
I also have their M6D, from approx 2 years ago, it charges/discharges two batteries at once completely independently. Excellent so far. Less features than the M9. Heh, and being partly deaf, I don't need a talking anything. But I bought a different brand FOUR battery charger, only to find that has no discharge facility!!! Always read the details!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
unforrunatellly my chargers last ages and I gave up on those new one every few years with a new bigger better faster charger. I have a Graupner MC16 whatever from 2012 or so and still it does it job quite well. Charge, discharge and all the other stuff still do work very well even though GRAUPNER no longer exists - sadly another bites the dust must be the tune I have in my ears.
Hi Bruce Great video and review of the New TOOLKIT RC Charger. I happen to really like the tilt screen, my charger is on the bench and if I want to read the screen I have to stand up. I just don't have any reason for voice, Thanks again for the video and information about this product.
I forgot to mention, but you can personalize it with your voice, I think that's worth a laugh, could you see Ron plugging in a battery and your voice comes out of the charger ? LOL Thanks again for the videos.
Wait, you can’t customise the alarm sounds? That was the main reason I wanted one. I have most of their other chargers and like them, but I turned alerts off on all of them as they’re too annoying. Love them otherwise, and the various built-in tools even came in handy a few times.
I agree with you that the Sound on a charger is a Gimmick. I also think the Flip Screen hinge point is a potential screen failure point and another Gimmick. Do you really need a flip up screen on a field charger ? Good basic review.

If you really need this gimmiks, nice if you can test servos, test ESC, but what matters is functionality over the years, but I know Bruce his critical way, he will keep this thing in mind.
I don't like these chargers because they use xt60 connectors.I use ec3 connectors.Plus I don't like the fact that it uses a lipo to charge a lipo.I would rather use a 12vdc regulated power supply like I use for my 4 button lipo chargers.
Looks like a brilliant lil charger that delivers crazy functionality way beyond charging only 👍 But the important question is= What happened to the mat!? Did you do the underpants trick and turned it around or did you splurge on a new one 😛

Personally I like the Hota D6+, it can charge two 5000mah 6s packs at 1C just by plugging it in the wall (has a built in 300w power supply).

I expect you can just replace the sound files on the SD card but haven't tried that yet.

I like it. I have an unhealthy charger collection addiction :) The resistance tester is cool, quite handy device.
Better next version with AC! Dual AC/DC would be more convenient for everyday usage anywhere!
