    Loved my 2003 Allroad. It was luxurious enough with excellent performance. Had to let it go at 180k miles. Suspension needed replacement and just wasn’t worth the money, especially after my kids started trashing it. Only other maker issue it had was a oil leak. Had that repaired and it gave me more fun. I do miss it lots. Fun to drive, great utility vehicle and was definitely different than a SUV (I live in the U.S.).

      Unless you can work on it yourself - don't even entertain the thought of buying one. Bought mine 2 years ago at 110,000 and iv already sunk like 3k into maintaining it. I cant imagine the cost if I had somebody else do the work for me. If you can work on it yourself and like getting your hands dirty on the other hand... you'll fall in love with it.

      google Arnott suspensions, excellent aftermarket air suspension, lifetime warranty. They just came through on warranty on mine on a 10-year-old system. No connection except I'm a happy customer

    • @KM-hc6pf
      @KM-hc6pf 4 года назад +4

      @@YensR coil spring on Allroad only makes sense to people who can not afford it... It is really easy to diagnose, simple obd2 cable with vcds lite will do the trick. Arnott parts are basically oem without Audi branding. You can also find it really cheap on aliexpress, some people are driving few years already on chinese air suspension parts and it seems to be working.

    • @kamata93

      Right now in Eastern Europe they recycle the airbags, compressors and everything related to the Air suspension with 2 years warranty and its stupidly cheap since the labour here at the Balkans is cheap. I always see that in Western Europe where good overall cars are scrapped because the airbags leak or the compressor broke.

    I have a remapped 2.5 TDI 2005 Audi Allroad, 230bhp and 480Nm torque, probably one of, if not the best 4X4 on the road, watch the video " Why Quattro ? thats why" puts ALL the others to shame, if you don't drive an Audi Quattro, this will explain why you have wasted so much money buying the load of junk that you are now driving.

      Not at all. Mine is similar as written by J. Greaney. MY 2000 biturbo with 312.000km wit original turbos, engine, cylinder head gaskets, catalysts and mufflers. The Arnott airbags (150 usd per piece) lasted for 100.000km on the rear. The front was changed after 2,5 in warranty (in Europe) so has warranty again. Oil leaks I had at the purchase 8 years ago. Reason was the mistreating of previous users (oil type) and as aftermath, clogged oil damp breather system.
