  • Navardi Tuned has been busy tinkering away to deliver in conjunction with Brintech Customs. The worlds first and most powerful BMW N20 (and N26 for you US folk).
    Today we go through how we install these sleeves into the block.

      Our extreme example likely won't hit the Dyno until next year

    I’ve seen others install the liners without cooling them. Glad to see someone did an actual interference fit.

      its not really an interference fit as we designed these to be removable if required
      there is a 1 thou interference only on the top flange otherwise its installed 1:1
      So if you manage to somehow break a sleeve you can use a sleeve puller etc to pull the affected sleeve out and put a new one in

    Just curious how do you go about removing the sleeves for whatever reason?

      Standard Sleeve removal tool that is commonly used in diesel engine rebuilds can be used to pull these sleeves out
