Years ago my foreman talked to a guy that told him he ran himself over with his tractor by starting his tractor like you did. He said he felt like someone beat him with a wooden bat. That is a really nice place in the woods , gonna be beautiful when you’re done.

Thanks for the video. The 555 is a beast. I just bought an old 555e with lots of leaks, been watching your videos on fixing hydraulic cylinders, very helpful. Was wondering what kind of hydraulic fluid you were using. The manuals say to use 134D fluid, having a hard time finding it. I'd appreciate your thoughts. Thanks.
I just use the tractor fluid they sell in the yellow buckets at the ford newholland dealer or 303 fluid from Oreilly’s. Haven’t had any issues. Glad you liked the vid and Welcome to Man Time👍
@@Man-Time don't use "303" fluid..... there are HUGE lawsuits across many states about damaged equipment..... many states prohibit the sale of "303" fluid because of this...... you can research it online
It looks slower then my case but i use a newer ford mid 80s and it had tons of power compared to my case 480 from 1987 i wish my back hoe was ford we use about 10 ford tractors on the farm and i think their better then all are case/ih most of are case breaks down alot ford is so simple and easy to find parts shit they are all the same where we can keep parts on hand
I wish my ford had the 4 Cyl diesel but it fit my price range. I don’t have a tach so I just run it where it sounds happy. Got to love having interchangeable parts between equipment!
I see you've done a lot of videos on the Ford 555. I'm looking at purchasing a 79 Ford 555. Have any suggestions of what to look for or a good idea of what it is worth?
What you think of it I’m thinking of getting 1980 ford 555a backhoe myself there asking 6000 for it but the power steering cylinder is bad do you think it’s worth it
It really depends on the hours and hose shape and clutch etc. I have a vid called “how to buy a good used machine”. It kinda goes over everything. But if everything is in good shape then 6k is a good price and steering is a constant battle so that’s normal
Are these similar to the 96-99 New Holland 555E? I go to a trade program and there are a couple of them there, pretty good tractors if you ask me, but i don't know enough about them
May I recommend adding metatags and hashtags to all your videos - and channel. Such as 'Letsdig18' - 'red poppy ranch' - 'andrew camarata' etc. - to generate more views and traffic. With respect :)
Good recommendation. I’m not trying to get huge fast. I’ve got too much going on to try and keep up with the pace of 2+ vids a week. But if I can, yes I will go back and tag every vid and make cool preview shots. Thanks for the advice and welcome to Man Time👍

You need to figure out what pin isn't taking grease and fix that thing cause I can hear the squeaking noise that I no all to well to be dry pins

Yeah the 555 started a long line through the 555E. I think that’s the last of 555’s
