  • I recently had the backhoe on the TYM T25 Tractor. Instead of using one of the bigger tractors for this bigger job, I grabbed it. I forgot just how good it would dig. ‪@tymnorthamerica‬ #tymtractors

    Love all your videos. It’s amazing what you can do with a 25hp tractor. When we built our first home in 1977 all we had was a Troy Built rototiller and pick and shovels, man would I have loved your rig.

    I saw your trailer with the lumber and specifically noticed the ratchet straps. I purchased 4 of them with the specific notion that I was going to cut them down to 12 feet. I found that 90% of the time using them I needed less that 8-10 feet. I cut the strap and then fused the ends with a propane torch. I still have some long ones, but the shorter ones which I almost exclusively use are now much nicer to use.

    Great video! I think your plan is going to work well. It’s incredible how much power water run off has. I can’t wait to see the cabin when you guys are done.

    Awesome vid, thanks for actually just letting the camera roll and showing how the machine works. Almost all the other vids I could find were sped up or had music.
    I’m very interested in getting one of these for projects we do and construction. After all the years of back breaking work with my old man when I was a kid using a mattock and a garden tractor dump cart I think this will easily pay for itself many times over in my lifetime. Primarily moving building material around and getting tasks done but the ability to use it for taking care of some small acreage in the future as well makes it a good choice. We live by rural king and they rebrand these for their business. I know the breakout force on a mini ex far surpasses these, but the front loader/backhoe combo and price point is unbeatable. Do you still have a decent amount of clay in the soil where you live? I’m in PA it’s basically all clay after a few feet and I was wondering how well it busts through. Thanks again for the informative videos!

    Man this kind of work is fun. I run a little business with my 1025r and attachments and I wish I had more jobs like what you’re working on here. Looking forward to you taking on that big stump. I think you can get it for sure with how you’re cutting the bank back. Might have to saws all a few big roots but I feel good about my 1025r getting it, and I know you’ve got a little more strength and weight.

    Hard freeze won't kill the bugs....here in MN we get down to -35F and 5 ft. of snow and it doesn't kill the bugs or Mosquitos. Your creating perfect conditions for a mud slide.

    What rpm do you run for your backhoe? I have a Mahindra 3650 (50 hp) with a 60B backhoe. I was digging sweetgum roots out of the ground running about 1500 rpm and it was working fine for about 30 minutes. Then for some reason the hydraulics for boom and arm started drifting. They would not hold in place. The outriggers did not seem to be effected. Any suggestions?

    Great video! Would you say this tractor would be suitable for building on .50 acre lots? I’m looking for an all around machine for backfill/grading work and also capable of digging my trenches for conduit. I know in reality the best option would have multiple pieces of equipment for each thing but looking for something compact since at times I’m confined to a tight footprint with neighboring homes.

      It is our go-to treasure for 40 acres. I have a 48 horsepower tractor but I always tend to get on the small one. I graded my driveway today.

      @@TonysTractorAdventure thanks so much for the response. I know a lot of the guys here poke fun at the small hp machines but from what I’ve seen they’re more than capable. I was hesitant because we have a lot of hard clay here but after watching several of your videos seems like you deal with the same thing. Thanks again

    Hey Tony,love watching your videos. I am curious, with all the backhoe work you've done, have you experienced and of the frame cracking I've seen on RUclips with the T24 and RK24? I'm in the market for a tractor and am looking at the T25. Not interested in cracking the frame though!

    I'm on the fence between the t25 and the 2515. My closest tym dealer is a little over 2 hours away so I haven't had time to go see which one feels better. That extra lift capacity on the loader is a HUGE advantage though! Do you ever find yours bogging down or wishing it had a few extra horses if you didn't have the t474?

    • @TonysTractorAdventure
      @TonysTractorAdventure  Год назад +2

      Yes. You have to buy the 2515 understanding it is 25hp. You will notice lower power in the PTO. It pulls and pushes fine. Hydraulics are strong.
