The SU&SD effect is at work again. You brought this totally dead, 6.3 BGG-rated game, into the Top 20 Hotness. And you had me hunt down a a copy and buy it. Haha.
That fridge joke drew Annoying Orange memories out of the deep recesses of my subconcsious, so thanks for that I guess. Edit: The "hedgehog with human teeth" joke and the original design of the Sonic movie too. I guess Matt just wants to re-traumatize me today.
Many thanks for this wonderful video! It's super cool for us to see the quirky universe of Rush Out! come alive in such a funny and brilliant way. The game is perfectly explained and presented and we hope that many players will like it! P.S : We think about the fridge issue ... that's why there are beautiful dice trays to prevent the dice from living in dangerous lands ;-)
That ending! That was brilliant! This review really really got across the share fun and joy you had playing this game, like an infection undertone of I want that fun too!
I watch the Rush Out Review, without warning I get sucked into the Magic Maze Review- While lost in the Magic Maze I discover a secret passage down into The Curse of the Temple. Stuck in the Temple, no longer even on my home channel, rations running low, tempers white hot, still no exit in sight. Suddenly I find it, a dusty old door, beyond which I discover an ancient, decrepit Spacecraft. Against all odds, the Space Alert Review shudders to life. The screen flashes a warning, I have entered the dimension of Vimeo. Technology so old and arcane and yet ever so strangely familiar. I've arrived at the centre of a great conspiracy. The genesis of board game criticism. The place where it all began. I'm at the game store. Quins is talking about eggs.
My only problem with real-time games is my real-time friends. I can barely trust these derelicts to keep honest scores during Yahtzee bathroom breaks, let alone this sort of chaos.
Things (dice, pieces, cat toys...) rolling under furniture is like radioactive decay: You never know when any specific piece will vanish, but you do know, that after a certain amount of time, half of them will have vanished.
This sounded similar enough that I remembered, once upon a time, I could swear that I came across a similar custom rules set for Escape: the curse of the temple! One player played as "The Temple" with their own dice set, and had custom rules and abilities that were re-purposed cards and tiles from the Queenies and expansions. I never got a chance to play it, but it definitely looked like a sure-fire hit from the description. Did anyone else come across that? I can't remember where I saw it.
I think i played that game; seem to remember rolling torches was most important for fleeing different rooms but when i play it the game was entirely co-operative unlike dice dungeon.
I also have some design notes building on Matt's- the turtle should have human teeth and the evil minotaur should have human teeth. But cow hooves. Not human feet. Don't at me Lovely review as always. Game looks like a joy
I was hoping they'd talk more about escape. That's my favorite game in the coop roll dice fast genre, and I wanted to know if they thought it was worth owning both.
just saying yall should totally review Dice Throne and Dice Throne Adventures if you get the chance to. A new expansion for the game is just coming out and it is one of my all time favorites that I have ever played as well as one of the most succesful kickstarted boardgames falling short to only gloomhaven and a few others. The entire game falls around the core mechanic of Battle Yatzee. If that doesnt get someone excited I dont know what will
"Now I'm working on your dad" got a solid laugh out of me
It's a line from a song by Pulp called Pencil Skirt
That's not even evil that's just fair
"I'll be around when he's not in town"
That one caught me off guard. So funny
Chef's kiss yup
Loving the return of campy fancy dress SU&SD it's genuinely my favourite part of the channel
The SU&SD effect is at work again. You brought this totally dead, 6.3 BGG-rated game, into the Top 20 Hotness. And you had me hunt down a a copy and buy it. Haha.
I can’t even find the game and I just want it!
"I've kissed your mum twice, and now I'm working on your dad." Amazing villain entrance
That fridge joke drew Annoying Orange memories out of the deep recesses of my subconcsious, so thanks for that I guess.
Edit: The "hedgehog with human teeth" joke and the original design of the Sonic movie too. I guess Matt just wants to re-traumatize me today.
I've always guessed that Tom makes a great evil wizard.
That Kim Kitsuragi jacket is such a huge flex
I see your Kim Kitsuragi bomber jacket, and I salute you Lieutenant.
I'm 30 seconds in and am already chuckling at the dice under the fridge joke.
It's still there
I’m sure it has other components to keep it company, like that Azul Summer tile.
@@shutupandsitdown my cat will handle it
Oh man, the goofs in this one are fantastic, as well as it being a great review. Great work, guys.
Thank you dear buddies for this great review!! And by the way, yes, we are french froggies!! Cheers! :)
12:42 - I'd recognise that bomber jacket anywhere! Kim wants it back
I saw that disco elysium jacket and I am so incredibly jealous.
Tom as a bad wizard is EXACTLY what I needed in my life.
3:51 - I hate you, Bad Wizard and so does my mum - in spite of what she might tell you.

*steps out of time machine*
I have been watching for years, but never have I ever laughed as hard at a SUSD joke as that Baaaaaad wizard! Love the work guys!
This is an absolutely brilliant review, full of high spirits, but also informative! Remarkable!
"But wait, there's more!" xD
Nice Kim Kitsuragi Jacket!!! Also great review, thank you for being amazing as always!
This is one of my favorite reviews on the channel so far, I’m sold on the game
Real-time dice games haven't been something I've latched onto but the 1 v All nature of this makes it look really fun.
I never knew I needed to be afraid of turtles with hammers until the last minute of this video.
There's a print and play version as well which is worth a look
Tom's evil wizard laugh scared my 4 year old. I played him another review where he was being silly instead... wasn't hard to find. Tom, you so silly!
Jesus, that jelly hand is the stuff of nightmares
Tom was born for this role.
"Take that you stupid turtle!" 🤣 my favorite part. Great vid guys, loved it.
The ending but got a spit take outta me, god I love this channel
I'm reminded of FUSE, also about rolling dice and trying to make certain sets to get through a deck of cards. Though that's fully co-operative.
The 20 second clip from 12:30 is M. Night Shyamalan levels of wild
11:05 Well played Sir, well played indeed. 😆😆😆
My only problem with real-time games is my real-time friends. I can barely trust these derelicts to keep honest scores during Yahtzee bathroom breaks, let alone this sort of chaos.
"I have loads of wizard friends! But you wouldn't know them. They go to another school. In Canada. Yeah..."
That entrance by Tom. 10/10
omg toms entrance is the BEST
"overwhelming lack of legs" Hahaha!
Oh god the pea under the fridge is amazing
Things (dice, pieces, cat toys...) rolling under furniture is like radioactive decay: You never know when any specific piece will vanish, but you do know, that after a certain amount of time, half of them will have vanished.
peeping the aerostatic jacket matt 👀
as much as i love boardgames disco elysium is all time fav
I'm concerned about the Bad Wizard's health. In particular their sleep-cycle and eye-fatigue.
Best final sketch in a while. SUSD always delivers
The hand made of jelly got me to hit like
But that was just your imagination.
1 Noble wizard vs 4 evil adventurers more like
0:37.... holy sh*t that thing is terrifying
Such an awesome review :) love your work Matt and Tom!

gonna play this 3 handed solo now!
LOVE THE PULP REFERENCE!!
For some reason I'm getting strong undertones of Zed from Police Academy in the Bad Wizard. Either way. Go team bad wizard.
Is that a Kim Kitsuragi pilot jacket from Disco Elysium at 2:18???
I also have some design notes building on Matt's- the turtle should have human teeth and the evil minotaur should have human teeth.
But cow hooves.
Not human feet.
Don't at me
Lovely review as always. Game looks like a joy
The not allowed to talk curse has big Escape Curse of the Temple vibes
Great stuff as always
Press F in the chat for the dice under fridge.
When the
The cursed jelly hand
Evil wizard laugh: 10/10
Love it. Will buy when available.
Why is this game still sold out or unavailable anywhere in Australia
Slime City Death Club. Had to Google who they are love the niche music choice. Coming from Glasgow I appreciate this greatly.
I feel that Matt only wanted to recommend this so he could expense that turtle mask....
Yes. You nailed this review, bravo. Recently SUSD-videos been bit hit or miss for me and quality has varied, but this one was an absolute delight.
You can tell Tom is an evil wizard in this because he's been slogged in the peeper. Twice.
I don’t know who I like more: Max Gland or Bad Wizard
If I were the evil wizard... I wouldn't just flick the dice off the card. I would run down the street and throw them onto a busy freeway.
Look forward to playing it.
Tom knows his After Effects. 👍
5 Minute Dungeon is very similar! Its a card game I think and it's fully collaborative
Hell yes, Slime City!
I was hoping they'd talk more about escape. That's my favorite game in the coop roll dice fast genre, and I wanted to know if they thought it was worth owning both.
Wow this was a really great video. Lots of fun!
Is that Kim Kitsuragi jacket ZA/UM Atelier put out?? 👀👀👀
Just wondering, is there a reason why Matt and Quinns don't appear together in videos anymore? I feel like it's been years since one of those
London is quite far from Brighton in the British mind
the pea with Matt's face will be haunting me
dear game publishers: please *stop it* with the giant spiders
Open up, we know you're in there, it's the pealice.
loving the spicy graphics in this video. also the video in general
4:00 The representation we anyways needed
i might seriously consider looking at this one in the future. i'm still waiting on my copy of Blood on The Clocktower to get here first! haha
I’ve been looking for a good real time frantically paced game, and this might just fit the bill
This is the best video I have ever seen

Is that Kim Kitsuragi's jacket?
I totally know a sorceress. She just goes to a different school.
Reminds me of Escape from the cursed temple
Slime City tshirt!
Kinda reminds me of 5 minute dungeon
Tom, just because you are a Bad Wizard doesn't mean you are a *bad* wizard.
Funny. I enjoyed your review.
That seems like fun.
Sounds like a fun one. I wish the symbols were molded into the dice instead of just printed on.
Pulp reference!!!! you brits can be charmin
This game sounds super fun.
Ah. The Realm of Lost Dice. Yes.
Let's go! best review i've seen in awhile
You may have squashed pealander X and Y, but there is at least one more peelander out there, more powerful than the rest
I'm late to this, but I watched this yesterday and today I was listening to Pulp and I had a bit of an existential crisis. So, thanks?
So is the green character under the fridge named Matt Peas?
