Hello lovely lady 🖐 im late to the party but what a treat 😋 something ive never made but they looked delicious 😋 you make everything so easy with your demo and talk through. I used 2 of those packs of stew with onion, turnip, carrot and potato chunks. Covered with beef stock in cosori pressure cooker and was ready in 30 minutes so tender like your steak. My first try out and honestly Lynn it was mind-blowing lol. It was lovely to see beautiful Joanne pop in to say hello, so like her mammy ❤ have a good week Lynn ❤❤

Hi Marilyn, one of my viewers said that you can swop the suet for olive oil, I’ve never tried it myself, here in the UK we can get vegetable suet as well as beef suet. It’s very dull, wet, and cold here today, I’m ready for a bit of sun ☀️ have a lovely week ❤️

Lynn, I’ve never made suet pastry but my mum always made a meat roly poly with suet pastry….wrapped in cloth and steamed, ooooh I can taste it now😋. I’m going to try these for sure……….👍🥰

You did a wonderful job explaining how to make those puddings. My Mum and Dad used to love steak and kidney so we had to have that too. I never did like the taste and texture of the suet pastry though. it looked like you really enjoyed them and i am sure Trevor did too.

Hello Lynn, I can smell them from here, they look delicious and I remember that they were my Mums favourite, she used to make a rag pudding in a basin and steam it for hours. We always had kidney in ours, but I’m going to make mine, this will be for the first time 😬 without kidney too. Mums in heaven now but she would be so proud of me for tackling making a steak and kidney pud. Hi Lynn. Those puddings had my mouth watering. I used to make them for my husband, like you, no kidney. The tins are the standard size and when you add your veg etc, are big enough. I will make some for myself, eat 1, freeze 1, and 2 for my lovely neighbours. You have 1 left and the lovely rag pudding, which was how my mum used to make them. Loved steak,and kidney pies when I was young,but never like suet pudding,which is a good thing as it’s impossible to get suet here.I have both steak,and a kidney in my freezer,so l should give it a go soon.

Loved steak,and kidney pies when I was young,but never like suet pudding,which is a good thing as it’s impossible to get suet here.I have both steak,and a kidney in my freezer,so l should give it a go soon.
Hi Janet, a subscriber of mine said that you can exchange the suet for olive oil as long as you add baking powder, I’ve never tried it myself but it’s an interesting idea, ❤️❤️❤️

Yummy. Home cooking is best. I use olive oil in my pudding mix. And for dumplings. It works. Try it in a dumpling mix first. Xxxx
