It's kind of clever how this movie is basically like a Minions 2 movie perfectly meshed with a Despicable Me prequel, while the first Minions was just a spinoff, this one becomes a prequel by being a sequel to the spinoff, rather than just being spinoff #2.
I've enjoyed your reactions to the Despicable Me franchise, Sophie! The first one is still my favorite, and even though the franchise's reputation got sour after the second film, the later films weren't that bad in my opinion. Now we await Despicable Me 4 in July!
This movie counts as a Despicable me movie since it's about Gru. Not sure we need another one! Unless it's about Lucy's relation with the girls and them rescuing Gru from a new villain, i really don't see what to add. Vector is stuck on the moon with no food or water, he can't survive alone! If he found a space-ship maybe but there's nothing except a Minion and him. If Vector is in the next movie, it won't make sense 🤨 In short, Despicable me don't need to exist. We have enough films about Gru and the minions, more stuff can be put in a series| show.

Wild Knuckles was hoping to use the powers of the animals that are displayed on the Chinese celestial calendar to become the most powerful villains the world has ever seen. Unfortunately, we saw that his treasonous crew had other ideas. In the climax, that’s exactly what they have become: Belle Bottom was the Dragon, Nun-Chuck was the Snake, Svengeance was the Tiger, Stronghold was the Ox and Jean-Clawed was the Monkey. As for the minions, Kevin was the Rabbit, Bob the Goat and Stuart the Rooster. When Gru reclaimed the Stone and took their forms away, he turned them into rats, which, in fact, is the first animal in the Zodiac order. Very fitting considering that this Lunar Year is the Year of the Dragon. 🐉

Constructive criticism, watched a few of your vids now, like you. But 3 seconds of video followed by 5 seconds of commentary over and over again for 30 minutes is not pleasant to watch for the veiwer.

To be honest, I was honestly expecting this movie to be bad, but I just can’t hate it. It’s too good!
