Kaká Werá é escritor, ambientalista e conferencista de origem tapuia. É fundador do Instituto Arapoty, empreendedor social da rede Ashoka de Empreendedores Sociais e conselheiro da Bovespa Social & Ambiental. Leciona, desde 1998, na Universidade da Paz (Unipaz) e na Fundação Peirópolis. O tema de sua apresentação no TEDxMataAtlântica que aconteceu dia 21 de maio de 2011 foi: "Uma filosofia das matas".
