      Yes, Handel was Top 5 material: Bach, Handel, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven (in chronological particular order) - with Brahms, Schubert and Wagner waiting in the wings.

    The big three are Mozart, Bach and Beethoven. I love them all, but my favourite is Handel..

    • @christophermacintyre5890
      @christophermacintyre5890  5 лет назад +3

      That's cool. I'd say Brahms, Handel, Haydn, Schubert, and Wagner (not necessarily in that order) are the next in line behind those three. After that, it gets a bit harder for me to rank them. I can't quite decide whether to go with the more "progressive" composers like Berlioz, Debussy, Liszt , and Stravinsky and or the more "conservative" composers like Chopin, Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, and Verdi. I can see both sides of the argument. Depends on what mood I'm in, really. Then I guess we would have to fit in Mahler , Mendelssohn, Schumann and R. Strauss somewhere for my Top 20. Throw in Bartok, Prokofiev, Ravel, Shostakovich, and Sibelius and that would be my Top 25...OK, better stop now.

    Is it not amazing how these composers/musicians have been dead for centuries and their music lives on in the 21st century.
    Yet we hear so many rappers and singers/musicians, dropping dead before 30 etc and no one remembers who they are let alone care.
    To me hell will be for us who love the classics, being subjected to 24/7 listening to some dead rappers music
    I have conducted a few experiments with my dogs over the years.
    When I play classical music how calm they are
    Play some JB rapper music and off the walls they go
    Play country music half way calm and half way going up the walls
    Play opera the will listen and join in on the high notes
    And please remember GFH was blessed by Parliament of the UK to be a British citizen.

      Well, in general terms it involves the use of kaleidoscope effects, put through numerous passes. However, it's a bit more complicated than that. I kind of forget exactly myself how I got some of these results and probably couldn't duplicate them again even if I wanted to. He, he, he. Anyway I'm glad you enjoy my efforts. I've gotten some negative pushback on this series of videos and was wondering if anyone actually liked what I came up with. I've got your vote at least. Thanks.

      This is from Michel Rondeau's page at the Petrucci Music Library:
      "He privately formed his own recording label (ARCADIA) and produced another record and a series of 20 cassettes and compact discs..." So I suggest you check on Amazon under "Michel Rondeau" and "Arcadia". However, if no CDs are available you can still download the MP3s for free by going to this link: imslp.org/wiki/Category:Rondeau,_Michel
      *Once on this page, click on the tab named "As Performer (130)", which will take you to the individual recordings which you can save onto your computer.

      You can download it for free at the Petrucci Music Library. Go to this link to Michel Rondeau's recordings: imslp.org/wiki/Category:Rondeau
      Whe you get to that page, click on the "As Performer (130)" tab. That will take you to the recordings. Click on the piece you want in the list of recordings. When you get to the page, for the specific piece of music, then right click on "Complete Performance" to download the MP3.
