You forget yourself n the worries n difficulties in life when u hear these Masters,Bach,Handel n Mozart compositions,purely they were frm heaven above,n God sent,thankyou somuch.
Ah…brings me back to my Sundays in church… the best part of the service was when it was over and the organist played a solo as people filed out of the church. Many of us chose not to leave until the solo was over and then we applauded. Handel originally composed for the church and that’s why his compositions sound so perfect on a big church organ.
2:39:44 Vitamin C “Graduation” Pachelbel Canon in D Handel Organ Concerto Opus 7 No. 5 Second Movement follow one thing in common. Canon in D chord progression. It follows the order I-V-vi-iii-IV-I-IV-V (repeat). It has been used in many pop songs such as Vitamin C’s “Graduation”. And also a few baroque songs such as this song which also sounds a little bit like “Graduation”. In this Andante there’s even some variations that have direct references to Canon in D! This is a beautiful piece!
Me parece FABULOSO. Sobre todo, cuando no se cuenta con una orquesta. También se que existen transcripciones para 2 órganos, 2 pianos y seguramente habrá para 2 clavecines con resultados muy buenos. Hoy tenemos estos resultados sin duda "brillantes". Debo mencionar que en la obra original, el pedalier no existe (algo propio de los órganos ingleses de la época). Saludo a todos.
My favorite from Opus 7 is Number 6, played by Walter Kraft. I have been trying for years to find out his edition. His performance was recorded in stereo, but the stereo was never released. This performance is a good performance.
I would like to tell you I like all these 12 concertos performed by Kraft as well as the 13th to the 16th with Eva Hölderlin. In Kraft's case, it was his first recording with Vox Productions. It was 72 years ago. I have one exemplar with the original albums and booklets.
I have them from when they were released; I bought them in Boston in a record shop on Kingston Street. The final movement of op 7, no 6 was used for 'Afternoon at Symphony' as the theme for WCRB-AM. @@marcelobrunorodrigues7630

Please remember that Op. 4 Nº 3 and 4 are with keys misplaced, but I took a look at Loret's edition and remarked that HE did this misplacing.
