You do have to spend some time setting the saw up... blade, fence, etc. But once done, the saw is great. The stock miter gauge can be adjusted in the miter slot with a little painter's tape... this tightens up the side to side play a lot.

This is by far the most practicalble hack. No need for nice equipments. Can be used perfectly for trimming tiles. I have used it and it works perfectly fine. No need for marble cutter (for small ones). Thumbs up man

Blade is on the wrong way round. That is why there is burn out on the wood which you can easily see at 3 min. He is cutting on the back of the teeth of the blade instead of on the front of the teeth. Still a functional design if grinder is connected to a variable speed controller to lower RPM.
Angle grinder for metal and masonry, therefore high RPM. Table saw for wood therefore lower RPM. If using a wood cutting blade on angle grinder without variable speed controller, be very very careful. If the blade binds into wood, kickback will occur often resulting in serious injury. @@johnme60
Oh Yeah. Usually those 4 1/2 blades for cutting wood are limited to 8,000 RPM max. Spinning them faster is a risk by itself, aside of the risk of making cuts with them. A variable speed angle grinder should be a better option, despite there's a bit of torque loss when lowering the speed. I've seen 4'' blades designed for +11,000 rpm but man, they're expensive.
cutting depth would max out quickly... anything more than an inch and a half would need double passes. not worth the dangers of that 11k rpm. a simple voltage controller is a must have safety...
