THEY HAVEN'T CHANGED! They are the SAME! We just got the new one and first thing had to replace the drive shafts and they wont stay on. Even putting lock tight on the grub screws doesn't help. This guy is just dishonest.
My buddy got one of these and the damn thing disintegrated when he looked at it. Cheap junk. For a few dollars more, you can get a Kraton 8s. Don't waste your money on this JUNK! Traxxas 4 life
As your proberbly aware I'm a bit of a fan of most of these little Chinese 1:16 trucks. I bought a WPL C14 off AliExpress before Christmas for £16 delivered! I've upgraded the electronics and stuck a 180 motor in it and it now runs 2S (loads more power through it). It came with the second generation axles (metal) and drive shafts from the factory. And I have ragged the arse off it on numerous occasions through mud, up rocks, in water. It's been dropped, submerged and trodden on. As yet NOTHING has broken. NOOTTHHHIIINNGGG! It got a custom paint job and the paint cost more than the truck! For the money you cannot go wrong, a few inexpensive tweaks and you have yourself a banging little RC offroader!!! 👍👍👍
@@TomleyRC I did have an early B24 and the plastic gears stripped, but It only did it when I made it haul rocks round the garden! Which to be honest was my fault! 😧
looks cool, i assume you made it proportional ? is that the 180 motor ? i still do not have a wpl but i have a 2 jjrc;s (6x6) and 2 fayee/eachine.. 1 in conversion the other stock. in 3 weeks there is a small hill-climb event in town so i better get some stuff finished/build. think an old sanwa m11 is overkill ? i don't want to buy another transmitter.
Now that’s a wheelie on something that shouldn’t be able to do one, it can take a lot of weight. I was just looking at this vehicle last night at 3am I think I need one now.
I love these WPL's, and you bring up an interesting point about everything being properly fitted. If you take your time and make sure everything is turning smoothly when you assemble it, it'll run fantastic! I have the 2 speed in my B16 (with the plastic gears) but made sure it was engaging smoothly and that the drivelines were also not binding ar anything else. That 6x6 is an absolute bear. It's not settling by building one of these little trucks, I far prefer it to the 1/10 scale rigs. Far cheaper, they require much less power and get better run times, plus, any hill is a great hill for these little guys. Keep crusading Tomley! We're right there with you...
No, the plastics are not even 25% the strength of the original design - Which was , as every other IT hustle trade product, the lowest quality on this entire planet.
You done a fantastic Job with the Simple Upgrades, Love Budget Rcs and what you can do to make them better for Buttons 👍 fantastic test run and Weight Run mate, really enjoyed this video as always 👍😎👍
I think you did a good job of making your point last time, and only those who were looking for something to get cross about would have misunderstood you. As for this video, can I take it that the B14, which seems to look like my B1, comes with a 180 motor?
Love Kevin Talbot! Honesty is best.

Not OCD , it's ATD - attention to detail . Aircraft Tech's , we just can't help ourselves . Impressive little truck with a Very wobbly wheel . 🤔🇦🇺😎
Yes, you are right.... you can't cut corners in the Aviation world!

For the price, these trucks are as tough as old boots.

Cheers Tony. Hope you are enjoying the weekend (unless you are working of course!)
My b24 is running metal gears and driveshafts, strong enough to climb ridiculous gradients time and time again! My black gearbox also cracked 😂
I've split so may black gear boxes pushing a 180 up em' it's just not funny! 😲
the Lamborghini is so
great video, you do good video work, thank you for the show.. see u on the next one

Yes Del, the B1/B14 are the same, i've always called it the 'B1'. The kits come with the 180 motor 👍
Buen video amigo 👍

Tough little bugger! Great test mate, proves what the WPL can do with a few cheap mods, I'm suitably impressed! :)
