The author needs to remember that the main character has to sympathetic and someone the reader wants to be or relate to. You have failed on all points. Then all the unrealistic things like someone diving into an aquarium and no one that works there said anything. That two people could watch someone drown and casually walk away. You can be a cheater and still have an issue with murder. I could say more because there are so many ridiculous situations that the reader can suspend disbelief.😮
