To clear up any confusion, bail in the UK works somewhat as you explained it does in the US, but simpler. Upon being charged with a crime at a police station, the individual (assuming they're not a major threat to the public), will likely be put on bail where they can leave before attending their court hearing at a later date. A prisoner would still need to put up some type of property equal to or greater than the bail amount plus 10% of the bail amount as a guarantee that you will show up to court. If rockstar would’ve given a teaser trailer with a snip of gameplay and I mean even 3-5 seconds max, this would’ve been avoided. Rockstar just abandoned their GTA fan base. They only continuously updated GTA online cus it was a cash cow for them. GTA 6 should’ve been released a year or 2 ago in all honesty if Rockstar cared about producing quality games and not just doing what’s going to make them money the easiest. I mean it’s been 9 years since GTA 5… you can’t leave the fan base in the dark for that long and not worry their game may get leaked after that long of silence about GTA 6. I don’t support the hacker, I support that rockstar may have gotten a wake up call that if they intentionally drag out development of their biggest title again that they worry this could happen.
I think it’s possible that rockstar might release gta 6 EARLY. And this won’t be good if they rush it and release it too early. The reason is because rockstar might see people getting hyped for the game, so they will try to rush it so they make the most money at the top of the hype
If GTA 6 turns out to be a good game. You still be buying it. Anyone who has any serious objections about a company should not be buying their games. At the end of the day, all gamers care about is if the game is any good. A company will have to do something really serious such as bankrolling drug dealers for anyone to boycott their games no matter how good they are.

But no...
What he did is nothing but an act of sharp mind but poor Instinct.
This guy used social engineering techniques, not information security techniques - hacks like this rely entirely on stupidity of people dealing with what the hacker sends (Eg. clicking on a suspicious link or interacting with a fake website or email), not technical & advanced cyber security techniques
So this means 2 things: rockstar cant really up their security as any system would be vulnerable to social engineering, & the guy won’t have a future as there is no technical skill in what was done that isn’t already known
White hats always have technical skills in the advanced side of computer science (encryption, web protocols, partial data decomposition, database design, etc etc) - what this guy did did not involve any necessary skills to go white
The FBI is already looking preparing a job offer.

The Professional please give us your reaction and thoughts on the new laws in Chicago
In the UK you don't have to pay to get bail, you are set a bail amount and you pay the amount if you break your bail, at least ats how it worked for me
He's guilty alright. They just haven't broke him yet (he thinks there's a way out of this, Strauss ain't gonna let something like this slide again) he's on a different ball game
He’s really playing watch dogs in real life
This kid is smart if he can hack like this, the government should hire him
Actually no. The fact that he was dumb enough to even attempt it proves how arrogant he was. Hackers think they can get away with whatever they please but in reality, they don't. Supporting this hacker won't do anything.
Can’t wait till they catch everyone involved these toxic gta communities are the worse u can claim to be a fan and hack into it hope they get what they deserve
That just rock star warning.
Criminals always claim that they are not guilty.
bro was playing watch dogs irl
nice vid man continue the amazing work!
Pro are you secretly going to be in GTA 6???
Did you make a video on that Bloomberg report about GTA 6 featuring a female protagonist?
The bail means they have to theatend the police station to be charged once charged they get taken to court then sent where every depending on age
The police arrested a suspected member of a hacking group. He wasn't the hacker that hacked R* but has pleaded guilty to breaking bail conditions for something unrelated.
There it is, real news!
Everyone praising the hacker remember, because of him the source code will be modify so we will not see GTA 6 for another long time
@Open-Minded Skeptic I didn’t see anything woke in the leaks and the game isn’t even out so what the hell are you saying? Hahaha
They yust use this to delay gta6, and next time they use something else, ya wil not see gta6 til they dont get money from gta5 no more,, they stil have a lot new players on gta5 they all buy sharkcards
Also you don't need to pay for bail here you are granted bail under certain conditions.
Matt Miller IRL much?

I don't feel bad for rockstar games
I don’t have any sympathy for the company but the people who work on the games don’t deserve to have their work shown off far too early. This is a major hit to morale.
@@jamesgordon9825 Exactly.
I know defending the hacker is not popular. And yes, it could have delayed the game further. But it sure didn't feel good to see Rockstar get theirs. I've been wanting to hear something about this game for so long, and they absolutely refuse to tell us anything. On top of that, they killed off my favorite game of all time for no reason even though there was a huge fan base around it. I had to sit and suffer and watches all my friends left me one by one and I left standing by myself in Red Dead online only for them to kill me off too. Rockstar games is my favorite game company, but it's time that they get a taste of their own medicine. Due to this kid, then so be it. But it felt good to see what I finally been waiting a decade to see. Long live the GTA 6 hacker
To be fair. Both parties were in the wrong. Rockstat should've kept Red Dead Alive and the Hacker should've never touched GTA.
@@sebastiankuolcrimson1622 to be fair? How is that fair? A multi-billion dollar company who has everything we've been asking for and refuses to release it.... And killed off Red Dead online for no reason at all, versus a hacker who merely gave us what we wanted. I'm happy with the results. And I'm down to see any leaked footage anyway possible
I know not Gta related but apparently some mw2 missions take place in 2020 and2022 instead of just 2022
I'm suprised they said not guilty but tbh idk how legal things work
Well, most attorneys, will tell you to ALWAYS plead not guilty. Period.
@@caseybyington7197 I didn't know that ty for explaining
@@caseybyington7197 - Would also point out that, because this was a UK court, there's no plea bargaining or anything like that. In the US (and maybe other countries), sometimes the attorney *will* recommend pleading guilty in the hope of getting a lower sentence.

Not only they had shitty security in their games and their bussines
They treat the entire community like trash for some cash
Their corporative greddiness come back to bite out behind their asses

@@VGUCrew1999 Their not the same company since Dan Houser left that's when Rockstar went down hill.

Is it possible that this kid is a folk hero? Is it possible that this (most likely) very intelligent person was so fed up with Rockstar's 'que sera sera' attitude towards the hackers that defile its flagship product at a level that the gaming world has never before witnessed? Was he trying to teach these makers of sharkcards a lesson that hundreds of thousands of complaining customers have failed to communicate to them? If that is the case then this boy deserves not just mercy from the court, but a round of applause from the straight shooting players of gtao that have been getting cornholed by hackers and a complicit rockstar for almost a decade.
