She obviously did it to save the routine, it wasn't meant to be harsh or anything but they had to keep going. But he tumblers are amazing by the way! And the jumps were so powerful and high. So fun to watch.

Dear people that know nothing about cheerleading but commenting on Marci ("the red headed chic") "pushing" her flyer...That was not rude the reason the flyer fell to begin with was because she wasn't holding her own weight there was no reason why she needed a backspot to help her out of her sponge and when Marci pushed her it was because she was in her way and needed to get to her spot it's a normal thing and it happens all the time.

A lot of the girls on senior elite(3 time world champions) are not twig thin. It doesn't matter what your weight is, it matters how much dedication you have to the sport.
Steven Stanley it's the flyers fault. The base just launched her and the backspot make a sure she doesn't fall yet the flyers did not hold her own weight at all. They each have different jobs and that was the flyers to stay up the black girls job was to being her up and hold her feet not her while fuckin body😂

I'm a dancer and even I know that a flyer at this level shouldn't need a back spot to help her squat in a half. The back spot should have catches her but then again she wouldn't have fallen if she was pulling her own weight. And if it wasn't the red head anyone else would have pushed her out of the way because they're going into their final position and she's not in her damn spot.

+Jessica Laplante this Is an high level competition group. Yes there is a reason for a back spot duh of course but the flyers job isn't just to be thrown and look pretty. She has a lot of work to do she can't just expect them to just do all the work. And for being at the level they're at she shouldn't be sitting into her squat for one and two shouldnt need to rely on her back spot for a HALF.
I'm a cheer leader and I was doing a flyer and so I broke my arm and shoulder bone because they didn't have a spotter behind me.😭😭😭 it hurt so bad and the way I landed is so painful. Never ever not have.a spotter. Behind you while doing a stunt. They are the ones who can save you from not being able to do cheer for a year.
I cheered for an elite team. She may be doing a half but it's every person in the stunts job to make sure it's successful. I had my flyers elbow come down my forehead so that I needed 9 stitches and I still caught her and completed the stunt before I reacted because that's THE job.

Diane Warner I'm sorry, but that flyer should've not have been sitting on her backspot either. It's her job to stay tight as to be as light as possible. Obviously that's not the case or else she wouldn't have fallen. The backspot didn't drop her on purpose either. She was preparing to go to the dance and let go a count early. When she realized she was a count early she reached to help the girl, but didn't want to mess up the formation, so she moved the girl to her spot to make sure she got there in time. If anything she was guiding her there and around herself, as the flyer couldn't see she was behind her. She definitely didn't SHOVE the girl, lol. Both cheerleaders were at fault, you can't just blame one and not the other.
They dropped to a pitch hold to dismount... I don't think the backspotter knew the flyer was going to fall. The flyer should've kept her shoulders up and her booty in. The dance sequence was the next 8 count so it wasn't anytime for catching her.. LBS... she was barely 4 feet off the floor; not falling from a basket toss.
Its the flyers fault she didn't put her weight on the bases shoulders and she didn't bend her knees (also your supposed to have you booty sticking out)
Alright so if you watch the video closely you can see that the backspot does help the flyer as she's coming down, but lets go as soon as she can, causing the flyer to have uneven weight and to fall. And the backspot doesn't help her up but instead pushes her to her spot in the dance. So if were being technical here, she might not have fallen from a basket toss, she still fell and if that had happened at a competition it would have been a deduction and cost the team points.
I did varsity competition starting as a freshman in high school so I know about the work and skill it takes to do this....however, I do enjoy a cleaner routine even if it means a bit less going on whether it's tumbling passes, stunting, jumps....whatever. They work their butts off I promise u that

Steven Stanley it's the flyers fault. The base just launched her and the backspot make a sure she doesn't fall yet the flyers did not hold her own weight at all. They each have different jobs and that was the flyers to stay up the black girls job was to being her up and hold her feet not her while fuckin body😂

I'm a dancer and even I know that a flyer at this level shouldn't need a back spot to help her squat in a half. The back spot should have catches her but then again she wouldn't have fallen if she was pulling her own weight. And if it wasn't the red head anyone else would have pushed her out of the way because they're going into their final position and she's not in her damn spot.

+Jessica Laplante this Is an high level competition group. Yes there is a reason for a back spot duh of course but the flyers job isn't just to be thrown and look pretty. She has a lot of work to do she can't just expect them to just do all the work. And for being at the level they're at she shouldn't be sitting into her squat for one and two shouldnt need to rely on her back spot for a HALF.
I'm a cheer leader and I was doing a flyer and so I broke my arm and shoulder bone because they didn't have a spotter behind me.😭😭😭 it hurt so bad and the way I landed is so painful. Never ever not have.a spotter. Behind you while doing a stunt. They are the ones who can save you from not being able to do cheer for a year.
I cheered for an elite team. She may be doing a half but it's every person in the stunts job to make sure it's successful. I had my flyers elbow come down my forehead so that I needed 9 stitches and I still caught her and completed the stunt before I reacted because that's THE job.

The red head DROPPED her flyer, then doesn't help her up, THEN SHOVES HER?!? I can get it if you don't help her up but she LET GO of the flyer!! You do NAWT do that
&& she dropped her on purpose. Even if it was on purpose or accidental. My coach would have been pissed off. Not only that but when a flyer falls in my team && there is no body under her then, the coach makes us condition. I would like to see what my coach would've done to that girl that did that on purpose && also pushed the flyer to the back.! Messed up 😒
Diane Warner I'm sorry, but that flyer should've not have been sitting on her backspot either. It's her job to stay tight as to be as light as possible. Obviously that's not the case or else she wouldn't have fallen. The backspot didn't drop her on purpose either. She was preparing to go to the dance and let go a count early. When she realized she was a count early she reached to help the girl, but didn't want to mess up the formation, so she moved the girl to her spot to make sure she got there in time. If anything she was guiding her there and around herself, as the flyer couldn't see she was behind her. She definitely didn't SHOVE the girl, lol. Both cheerleaders were at fault, you can't just blame one and not the other.

They dropped to a pitch hold to dismount... I don't think the backspotter knew the flyer was going to fall. The flyer should've kept her shoulders up and her booty in. The dance sequence was the next 8 count so it wasn't anytime for catching her.. LBS... she was barely 4 feet off the floor; not falling from a basket toss.
Its the flyers fault she didn't put her weight on the bases shoulders and she didn't bend her knees (also your supposed to have you booty sticking out)

Alright so if you watch the video closely you can see that the backspot does help the flyer as she's coming down, but lets go as soon as she can, causing the flyer to have uneven weight and to fall. And the backspot doesn't help her up but instead pushes her to her spot in the dance. So if were being technical here, she might not have fallen from a basket toss, she still fell and if that had happened at a competition it would have been a deduction and cost the team points.

I did varsity competition starting as a freshman in high school so I know about the work and skill it takes to do this....however, I do enjoy a cleaner routine even if it means a bit less going on whether it's tumbling passes, stunting, jumps....whatever. They work their butts off I promise u that
