A Ben Folds concert becomes an unexpected date for future two future Broadway stars.
Alex Finke (Come From Away) and Joe Carroll (Bandstand) met at the University of Michigan, where she admits she had a crush on him, but didn't really want to date a guy from her class. When he invited her to a Ben Folds concert on a not-date first date, however, all bets were off. Now engaged, the Broadway couple look back on that experience - and how they landed their first kiss.

Joe is my teacher's friend, today we get to meet him at our school! He is such a nice guy, he is so funny and amazing, his singing and acting is amazing, we even got to sing with him frozen, let is go and love is an open door, he is AMAZING!
