I have composed several hundreds of these and just hum the tune into my phone recorder as i don't play an instrument nor can't sing! I have no interest in becoming a pop star either. And when I show people the music in person, they like it and they add it to their playlists. Just want to say that it's really hard to step out from your geographical circle (Croatia) by just promoting music online. Algorithm is trying to keep us here ... But I know it'll be big one day. The playing it by ear advice definitely makes perfect sense Fleetwood Mac had to push back the release date of Tusk because Rumours was still doing so ridiculously well, they would have been crazy to take the attention off Rumours and onto Tusk during that period

It is, but you won't get far promoting on Instagram, even if you pay for promotion. Focus on TikTok and RUclips for posting and promoting.
