Thanks for reacting to this eloquent number by Asterism. They exhibit a subtlety here that you usually don't experience with power rock groups. As to the bass guitar's unusual sounds, you might be thinking of the opening and closing material from Lovebites' "Judgment Day," where their new bassist, Fami, debuts in their first new single since she joined. Unlike in "Stand and Deliver / Shoot them down," which Fami introduces in the lower register of her bass, in "Judgment Day" she plays more in the mid- and treble- range of her instrument. Miyu accomplishes more on his 7-string bass than Yes's Chris Squire did on his triple neck, as great a player as Chris was RIP.
Three of the brightest stars in the rock/metal sky of our time. 🔥🤘🏻 With their talent, you could supply 10 complete bands, and they would still have enough left to be better than them. ✨ _____________________ 「 _"Till I return to dust, I will stand alone in the dark with my pride at the end of time"_ 」- from *Nemophila* - '徒花 -Adabana-' 🎶💮
In their latest album they have started adding vocals where all of them sing, but the guitarist mostly takes the lead vocals. Hal-Ca (guitarist) is kind of a child prodigy on guitar, and she ranks right up there with some of the best guitarists in Japan. I think she is about 18 or 19 now, but when that video was shot she was only about 16 or 17. If I remember correctly, the bass player is only a year older than her. The previous comment had some good suggestions for some of their songs, I would only add "Fiction" which I think is their newest release and does feature vocals. I hope you have a great night!
Hal-Ca, an amazingly gifted immensely guitarist, has soft melodic vocals. And her playing is always a mass of emotions that you experience with her. In my opinion, she is the strongest guitar player in the world and there is a gulf between her and all the other musicians. And every year the gap will grow wider and wider. Hal-Ca got all the best in the world guitars soloist fingers, next songs Dawn, Rising Moon, Blaze, Lights In The Darkness, watch her solo's.... Misa(Band-Maid) play 5string bass, Boh(Babymetal) play 6string bass, Miyu(Asterism) play 7string bass and that 7string bass specially made by ESP only for him...... Japanese Bands they play 7string guitars, 5,6,7 string bass, Western Bands they still play with 6string guitars and 4string bass
I generally agree with you, except for the last sentence, most modern metal bands in Europe and America now use 7 string and 8 string guitars, 5 string or 6 string bass, which is a trend.
Haruka !!! 🎸🔥🤘
You can't go wrong with Asterism. Even the material from their early teens is top notch.
One of the best 3 piece bands, all three of them are very young and top talent, I recommend 《dawn》 live as the next🤘🏻🔥

Hal-Ca is 20 now, Miyu just had his 21st birthday. Mind you you could see the brilliance when they were 12 or 13.
