    Where is the REAL Gallows Hill? Behind 19 Boston. St., that's where! Listen to Rebecca Eames' testimony and decide for yourself. I also encourage you to visit and trust your intuition. As a lightworker, I can feel and sense energy in the earth's grid. Although, I had a knowing ever since I first saw this hill in 2015, I truly felt it when I filmed there in Oct. of 2021. I even sensed a very powerful spot on the hill, where I feel the Gallows were. I felt connected to the victims' last moments before being prematurely taken from this world. I felt them trying to harness the courage to die. I felt their Faith that God was there with them. (Well, at least some of them. You'll have to watch my future videos on the connections between the Salem Witch Trials and the Conjuring World.)
    The controlling powers want to keep tourists contained in downtown Salem. However, the Salem of 1692 also included the neighboring towns of Danvers, Peabody, Beverly, Manchester-by-the-Sea, Marblehead, Wenham, and a section of Topsfield. Not to mention that not all of the accused and hanged were from Salem, MA. "They" want you to believe that Gallows Hill is at Proctor's Ledge. "They" want you to believe that "they" don't know for sure. "They" have records "they" don't want to share with us. Well, Gallows Hill wasn't located at Proctor's Ledge. It's located at 12 Pope St., further up the street.
    "Historian Marilynne Roach made a great find while digging through the centuries-old records. It seems that in 1692, Rebecca Eames, another woman believed to be practicing evil witchcraft, was removed from her home in nearby Boxford. As her cart turned down Boston Street, she could see the gallows where they stood as she headed for Salem Village.
    Later on that day, Eames found herself in a preliminary trial. According to the report, the magistrate asked Eames if she’d witnessed the execution that morning. Her response was that she had been at 'the house below the hill' and that, yes, she’d witnessed the 'folks' at their hangings.
    The house below the hill” was none other than John McCarter’s house... a house that stood all the way until 1890 at 19 Boston Street.
    Rebecca was standing in front of John McCarter's house (19 Boston St.) when she looked up and saw the "folks" at their hangings. She clearly stated that she was at "The house below the hill." This is the KEY to unlocking where Gallows Hill really is. 19 Boston St. is the house below the [Gallows] hill.

    It would be interesting to know if any of the tenets that live there have ever experienced paranormal activities in their apartments; specifically the ones that live closer to that area. Or, and probably more likely, if they've experienced anything in/around the parking lot!

      Good morning Sigrid..... Lol I found ? Your response interesting as well.... Are you a current resident there in Byfield ? If you are? I thought I'd share with you when I lived there then? I worked part time at the Mini Mart there and when I first moved there? I lived in the loft apartment over the store then too. I miss the Northeast and a few friends here ? And myself are talking about traveling there to Salem next October for the crazy but fun Halloween festivities there. Anyway thank you for your response hope you have a great Sunday there.

    My sisters and I are descendants of Elizabeth Proctor, her husband John Proctor was hung for being a witch, we're going to Salem in October to pay our respects and see what we can find out about our family. Other family members accused were Benjamin Proctor, son of John and his first wife, William Proctor, Sarah Proctor, Mary (Bassett) DeRich, Sarah Bassett, Thomas Farrar, Sr., Elizabeth Hart, Rebecca Nurse, Elizabeth Proctor, daughter of John Proctor and Elizabeth Proctor
    Mary (Towne) Easty, Sarah (Towne) Cloyce

      That's really cool. I had students, when I taught out there, who were also descendants of John and Elizabeth too. I hope you have/had a great time visiting. It is really tragic what happened to them, but it's nice to be able to pay your respects. 🧡🖤🤍

    Gallows Hills, they say is behind or a near a Walgreens Pharmacy and there's a memorial there. Regardless both Salem Heights and Gallows Hill are near Walgreens are near each other and the hangings could of taken place and where near those locations?

    Thank You for this video. I have been to Proctor's Ledge many times. I certainly understand your conclusion. Just a gentle reminder that there is no marker for Giles Corey here as he was crushed to death in the area of Howard St. Cemetery.

    • @Connected5D
      @Connected5D  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for watching and for adding that. They should've included something for Giles Corey at the memorial or at least direct people to the Howard St. Cemetery. I did briefly show the Howard St. Cemetery in my Salem Walking Tour video, but I didn't notice that they left him out of the memorial at Proctor's Ledge. Thank you.

      @@Connected5D There are 2 small memorials to Giles and Martha Corey in Peabody, MA where their farm was located. However, it would be nice to have a small memorial near Howard Street. I wonder if there is not one because it has not actually been pin pointed by the historians?

    I went to Salem in October, and I completely agree with your take on this! Definitely doesn’t make sense for them to be hung on tiny proctor’s ledge- which isn’t even a ledge unless the landscape has significantly changed.

      Hi Christin, thank you so much. I'm glad you got a chance to visit and thank you for your comments. I think they just don't want to tell everyone because they went ahead and built apartments on the spot. Thanks again, and I hope you had a great time during your visit!

I hope you have a great time and thank you for your response! Let me know what you think if you visit the Gallows Hill location or any other place that you really enjoyed. Salem has so many little treasures it's hard to share them all in my videos, so I'm sure the viewers would also like to know what you enjoyed most! 🧡🖤🤍

    I'm directly related to Rebecca (straight down on my mother's side through women, and I'm sure many many people are, but I think it's cool). Thank you for this video.
    Edit: Rebecca Eames not Rebecca Nurse. That name was later stylized/respelled Ames.

    It is time to remember and reflect on the crimes the Puritans committed in Essex County Mass. in 1692, how they unjustly accused and murdered by hanging so many of our people, Salem will never be forgotten or forgiven. We offer a prayer to our Lord Ahriman and enter into the rituals of blood, salt and water in remembrance. Blessed be.

    I'm wondering if Salem Heights apartments are haunted??

    • @Connected5D
      @Connected5D  2 года назад +1

      Unfortunately, these types of spots can draw negative energies, so you could be right. I hope that the energy there has been healed. I believe what I felt there was residual energy, a mix of love, fear, and hope. All we can do is send our white light and prayers to help heal the energy grid in that area. :)
