- My recording software made the game look pixelated. Checking into my settings to fix that for future videos. I had reinstalled Windows recently and had to redo a lot of stuff.
The code below is what you need to copy for the first tweak:
[Engine.Engine]
GameEngine=AliceGame.AliceGameEngine
bEnableColorClear=TRUE
DefaultPostProcessName=PostProcesses.PostProcess_Default
bEnableColorClear=TRUE
DefaultOnlineSubsystemName=
DynamicCoverMeshComponentName=
SubtitleFontName=WarfareFonts.Fonts.WarfareFonts_Chrom20
LoadingTextFontName=WarfareFonts.Fonts.WarfareFonts_Chrom20
bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE
MinSmoothedFrameRate=22
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=60

thanks a lot!
No prob! :D
Okay, so I did this and now my controller is super laggy and the camera literally spins in place endlessly when I try to play the game with it. Is there a fix for this?
Try disconnecting the controller and reconnecting it.
@@Practicedummy1 Okay. I tried that, it didn't work. I'm using a Series X controller btw. But then when I tried my DS4 through DS4Windows, the camera spinning and lag stopped and the game started working fine. So something between the game and my Series X controller specifically isn't working for some reason.
@@MetalGaiden96 Cool beans. I use DS4WIndows myself on Tomb Raider 1-2 and a few other games. :D
The framerate doesnt change for me. I tried every method online as well as this :(
That sucks.
@@Practicedummy1 its horrible man. The intro videos skip thing works, so why not this? Any ideas? :(
@@kulsevdasi Not sure what to tell you. On this video, I had to do some research into the fixes for the two problems and the fixes worked for me.
@@Practicedummy1 thanks for taking the time to share my pain though :)
I think I may have found a fix for your issue, as I was having the same issue as. Go to Document, My Games, Alice Madness Returns, AliceGame, Config, AliceEngine.ini. From there, look for MaxSmoothedFrameRate and change it from 30 to 60. I did this and the game immediately started running at 60 once I booted it up again.
I do just DefaultEngine change fps 31 = 120 It's workkkkkkk oh my gosh. I think is game just render low.
I don't change intro becuase when I play game is crash, but is okay I like cheshire cat face.
Glad you are still able to enjoy the game. :D
you accidently put the wrong code in the description. i think you meant to put the one with the frames at 60.
Where at?
@@Practicedummy1 the code to copy and paste in the description. it’s at 31 not 60
@@icefox9875 Ok, I was looking in the video and not the description. Thanks for telling me! Got the change made.
