Thank you. This is not just the character's death being represented. Chadwick died at the height of his career. Two years after giving us his all in the first movie, and he vanishes. It's a little hard to watch for that, but I'll suck it up. Dance in heaven, man. 🙏🏻✝️

This scene didn’t feel like acting you could genuinely feel the raw emotions the actors felt about losing their friends, this scene still has me in tears, may he rest in peace king

What I love about this scene besides the amazing tribute to T’challa and Boseman, is that it also reminds the audience and fans that at the end of the day, the avengers are everything but invincible.
This wasn't a funeral for King T'Challa, it was a funeral for Chadwick Boseman.

The face of okoye portrayed the pain of carrying the casket of a loved one, your death remains fresh and painful bro
im glad they didnt have any avengers there for his funeral. This wasn't just a funeral for the black panther as much as it was a funeral and send off for chadwick. having the avengers there would of taken to much attention away from that.

The beauty of this is this didn’t tie to anything. It was closure and new beginning wrapped in one.

The opening scene & the funeral felt so close to home, I was in tears when I first watched this.
Letitia, Angela, the actors, I genuinely felt their pain. A loss of this magnitude can break a person no matter the circumstances.

I still think the best avengers movies made are Joss whedon, because he didn't side the characters and create new dynamic where as in infinity war and endgame, there's pretty much nothing,they add, it's ugly to watch, even some Disney plus show who has a reduce budget like Moon Knight, Wandavision and Loki felt more cinematic than the Russo's movies

This scene is supposed to be a personal send off to both the character and the actor following his death. The tribute to Chadwick in the movie is emotionally phenomenal.
as some one who attended the funeral of a relative in the past this along with Peggy's funeral in civil war get me every time
I loved the tribute, and how they handled Chadwick's death and incorporated it for T'challa, this is something that fast and furious should have done in my opinion
The last ride is beautiful in its own right. With the car going into the horizon was beautiful too. I freaking cried in the theater when that scene hit. But also they had to take in consideration of his daughter too being she was a teenager at the time. So it probably was out if respect. The only thing that freaks me out is how they treated Stan Lee's death in whole by mocking some of his movies now.

I'll be honest. I admit I initially found the scene disrespectful. I now realize that Africans don't see death as a sad thing. They were literally all dancing at what was supposed to be a sad event and I found it really disturbing. As I said I now realize that's how Africans do things. This is just what I initially thought
Exactly, it's because of culture forced. Some places in America funerals are like this . I had to do one back in 1990 in NY. Of someone from Detroit but their family with West African family too. It's not one way at all. We incorporated both families. There was. The traditional but we have to open our eyes and I was 17 and didn't believe death was an ending but another door to other energy.not just that they even show a scene like this in Queen of the damned too where her body is creamated in itself but being released. It was just the scenes edited to show the other characters and went along with the story. But I saw they were sending a tribute to Aaliyah plus her song at the end of the movie and the cross. I don't see it as that. Disrespect would be a fight scene or something weird like the line they did in FF8 when Lettie says " Leave Brian out of this" . I was mad as hell.
