    Heya, lovely work in this, just wanted to leave some advice for the screen comparisons. The camera that you’re using is adjusting it’s ISO automatically, which changes how bright everything is. And since the Steam Deck has a black body it adjusts darker, making the screen look brighter, whilst the Ally’s white body adjusts everything darker, and makes the screen look dimmer. If you have a way to set the iso of your camera to not change, it would vastly improve this, alternatively, try to fit both devices into the same shot :)

      Thank you for this advice, will definitely try this next time. I do keep the ISO on auto instead of tinkering with it, stay tuned for more!

    what should I buy Asus rog ally or Steam Deck Oled. i already have steam deck lsd

    • @savtechreviews
      @savtechreviews  9 месяцев назад

      I would go for the Ally in this case. It's better to experience a different console that has more performance compared to the steam deck oled and more compatibility because it's windows based. That being said the ROG Allys screen is still Excellent and a big upgrade compared to the steam deck LCD.

      @DeckVille yeah, I have heard of that issue too. I haven't had any issues with mine though. I also have a lot of my games on the internal ssd.

    Can’t decide between the new SD or ASUS ROG Ally. I really like the SD oled

      Can't go wrong with either. If you want better screen / battery life then go with SD. If you want more performance / game compatibility/ far better speakers then go with ROG Ally.

    Waiting for mine. Prefere a well optimized divice than powerfull and train wreck. Still use my Switch and this divice will replace that. Also have a PS5 and a Xbox Series X. Sold my WINDOWS RTX 3060 laptop.

      Yes, I totally see your point. This is very analogous to users who prefer IPhone over Android to me. Apple can do a lot with weaker hardware and make a user optimized experience (just like the steam deck), whereas Android usually has better hardware but may require tinkering (like the ROG Ally or windows handhelds).

    19:48 Legion go 44 AVG while the ROG Ally is 87 AVG and the SD is 49? You didnt see those results and say "hey, something is really wrong with my testing because the legion go has the same chip as the ROG ally?"

    • @savtechreviews
      @savtechreviews  9 месяцев назад

      That is precisely my point, there is nothing wrong with my testing. The Legion Go consistently vastly underperformed at the same wattage.

    • @undyingsonars
      @undyingsonars 9 месяцев назад

      There is definitely something wrong. Putting the SD OLED numbers aside, there is no way in hell the Legion go is performing half as well as the ROG Ally at 15w. They go toe and toe here and there but double? Not a snowball chance in hell in any game.

    • @savtechreviews
      @savtechreviews  9 месяцев назад

      @undyingsonars that's the expression I got out the box with the Legion Go, hence the glitchy software. I was also surprised, how about you get one and try it yourself?

    I got my 2 saturday ago, was fast and was happy when it came, made my own video and might do another with ym LCD version, at first wanted the limited edition but I thought about it and saved money also if I wanted to upgraded would be waste of changign the 1TB to a 2 TB and messing up the limited edition so I got the 512 version whcih planning to either go 1TB or 2TB, i got most of ym stuff though still wondering whcih SSD to get. I am hoping for cheaper but we will see. I like the screen which I own the other version too which ahs the good screen but with the coloring not sure if matters. Only time will tell if made the right choice though hear the 1TB has issue not the limtied but other one so heard from other that i went with the right choice because the other oen has sticky thumb sticks and dpad, and has dead pixel which i tested my and I was good on that. Whatever I picked I am happy because I have an eye issue and the darker color were always bad for me on the lCD, the enw OLED is so much brighter and can see well. I not sure what I will do with ym old one but do like that case that comes with it and the enw OLED one I not fan of it I feel the 512 case is better and won't rip off like your old on case, and does nto proect yours steam deck much fi dropped rather have the hard case. ANyways Good video and hope you enjoy your limited if it come in pruple I will be all over it lol
