Bummed I missed this, but at least I know I can always rely on either the great markit aneight or Jim Powers to bestow upon us the gift of an evening with non-commercialized audio-video entertainment. Thanks!

Now this is the way I want stuff to be filmed. I don't care about any fancy editing. You can finally see things. Nothing gets in the way of the music.

they have had some recording sessions over the last two years or so, as they stated on social media.... but I start to think 'tortoise' refers to pace of their album production yeah 🙂

Read about the tour announcement on the Brooklyn Vegan, and they indicated that the tour was in conjunction with the re-issue of "Rhythms, Resolutions, and Clusters" on vinyl.
      Such a great band.
So much of music from the 90s, especially the stuff from Chicago, really spoke to me. Such a great moment in time. It's funny because the record store I went to had the 7 inch releases when they first came out (the white pressings), and when I saw the two releases I put them on the counter, and sort of automatically put them together to form the larger picture (it's was a puzzle that I was unconsciously aware of). It happened so quick ( did it without really even thinking) the guy behind the counter was taken aback, 'cause he didn't even see it at first. Not so much honking my own horn, but just a way of saying that so much of the music around then (from that scene in particular) made a lot of sense to me.
