Why, when I select an MP4 file(my pc sees it as one), it becomes a music file named ....mp4 It also came to the sound track, but there is not real sound :( What should i do?

Stuck? Like it won't open or it just crashes? Try running the program in compatibility mode > windows vista - let me know if this fixes it. To perform this action right click on Sony Vegas Pro 14 > properties > and change the compatibility mode to vista. Let me know your results
Just done it...Didn't work its stuck at Creating File I/O Manager..And I watched like 1movie thats 1h long and it didn't move from that...(I did that Windows vista still didin't work)
MarcoReus11FTW completely uninstall the software, restart your computer, download and run ccleaner, clear all your temp files by going to start and run and type in %temp%. reinstall and run as administrator and it should work. try that and let me know
