The main two worth watching: Harold Minor 3:08 Two-hand, Pump Reverse 8:02 Two-hand, Off Glass 13:15 Bounce, Side Windmill 17:17 Bounce, Two-hand Pump Reverse 19:27 Cuff Windmill 21:38 360, Cuff Windmill Clarence Weatherspoon 4:43 Windmill 9:42 Bounce, High Catch w/ Two-hands 14:55 Two-hand, Power Dunk 15:48 Baseline, Cuff, 360 Windmill 21:05 Cuff 180 Windmill If only David Benoit could had made this Sweet extended cradle like Larry Nance: 11:36
Minor's cuff windmill is not only his best dunk ever, yes including the pump reverse and the 360 cuff, it's one the best executed dunks in history of the NBA dunk contest. I'm tired of this trying to do too much, hopefully barely making it, getting 1 min to make it bullshit. Make the dunk with execution, power and style and this dunk embodies that more than any before him
God I miss the 90's the commentators weren't impressed by anything, even the good dunks, and told you about it. Today they just try to support the show and be positive to a fault. Take me back man
He was underrated. The man won two championships as the starting PG of the Rockets. Plus, he was a very efficient scorer, for his career 48 percent FG and 40 percent 3PT shooter. He also participated in 3 dunk contests, never won but some of his dunks were memorable.
Baby Jordan really mixed up the simplicity with ultimate power, like a mix of Dominique and Vince Carter, but in his shorter 6'4" body to make it all the more impressive.
That left handed windmill takes a lot of athleticism, as does the backward pump two handed jam. Both of them I think would be difficult for even MJ. He had his own category which where his dunks were difficult, yet easy for him, considering his style. And for other great dunkers, it was just the same.
David Benoit back in the day had some serious hops. Too bad he missed a couple of them but when he was with the Jazz, omg, he was their go to man when it comes to those amazing sky high dunks and ally oops. And back then, ally oops we’re just getting popular. Few guys did it in the days including Shawn Kemp.
Well my guy this is where it comes from. This is where Carter and lebron and any power dunker got it from. If it weren’t for these guys Carter would be doing 360 layups lol .
skyline such an explosive dunker, but hard to live up to with that nickname slapped on ya, also weatherspoons nickname was baby Barkley in collage aswel.
Compare this to the 1978 ABA dunk contest. It's called evolution, scrub. And half today's kids don't even dunk with power, even if they are on all the steroids and growth hormone and strength training available to today's kids.

You forgot about Tim perry
Baby Barkley and Baby Jordan in this dunk contest.
God I miss the 90's the commentators weren't impressed by anything, even the good dunks, and told you about it. Today they just try to support the show and be positive to a fault. Take me back man
Love watching Kenny Smith, very underrated guy
He was underrated. The man won two championships as the starting PG of the Rockets. Plus, he was a very efficient scorer, for his career 48 percent FG and 40 percent 3PT shooter. He also participated in 3 dunk contests, never won but some of his dunks were memorable.
@@Joseph-lz5erthat man could really get up there 😮
if Mike tyson could dunk he would be harold miner aka baby jordan..dude dunks like he trying to kill somebody.
that pic of Tim Perry at 4:17 is a face you see at the corner sto at 3 am in the hood askin "lemme hol 31 cent" lol
Baby Jordan really mixed up the simplicity with ultimate power, like a mix of Dominique and Vince Carter, but in his shorter 6'4" body to make it all the more impressive.
Great Breakdown
Harild miner dunks and Kenny Smith the best dunks
It's strange cause half of them (or even more) didn't seem to really care about their participation...
Damn Abdul Rauf got bounce back in the day
Cedric R its a damn shame he got blacklisted.
he was kaepernick before kaepernick
@@roughestgunark845 lol No it's not, we'd of had that blm shit all over the court in the mid-90's and no one ever wanted that shit...
For 1993 standards that first dunk was actually a pretty solid dunk for Kenny Smith
Kenny smashing it
Even in 1993, I still dont trust Charles Barkley’s opinion on anything.
Connie Hawkins and Dr. J should have been the commentators!!!!
Baby Jordan forever a legend.
The cuff windmill at 19:44 looks so smooth and powerful, it should've gotten a 50. I'd give it a 50 even today.
That left handed windmill takes a lot of athleticism, as does the backward pump two handed jam. Both of them I think would be difficult for even MJ. He had his own category which where his dunks were difficult, yet easy for him, considering his style. And for other great dunkers, it was just the same.
Now middle school kids do these dunks
Bravo Tells It All nah that Harold Miner shit is high level power
@@AS-fz5dp For that time it was nice. It wouldn't win a slam dunk contest today. Not even close.
Miner had hops and power. Next thing you gonna say that these kids can do mj and 'nique
They like 30+ years apart, ain't fair to compare. That being said, young Mike could go just as high as anybody. I wouldn't go against the goat!
Middle school kids today are on growth hormones and testosterone and strength training programs. Back then these guys played ball and ran laps.
Chris Jackson looks like John Starks.
They had a very similar jump shooting form .
Miner wanna kill the rim
Oh yeah.....baby jordan harold miner.to bad kemp wasnt in this he would of won it.
Kemp lost multiple Dunk Contest
7:46 Tourette’s syndrome
Good catch. This is the real reason why most NBA teams were not interested in him.
Some of these guys looked like they were forced to be in this
Meanwhile MJ is preparing to threepeat !
If only Kenny hadn't had grabbed that rim 🤯
Lol
Vince Carter look like he bit off of Clarence Weatherspoon in the 2nd Round
Carter was reverse
This contest wasn't even close. Harold Miner dominated. Weatherspoon had a few good power dunks, but he couldn't match Miner's athleticism.
Ceballos should not have been invited
He won the previous year
Ceballos hops was trash . Barely got it over the rim twice an got hung once
Think he was injured year before he was getting up
Weakest contest winner ever.
Sony video recorder being used by Dominique 😅
Yeah Tim Perry was just bored at home that's why he came just no fucs giving forreal
Abdul-Raof is like a midget out there, but he pulled a nice pump reverse off the bounce. Just not a contest dunker.
Don't forget Dee Brown! He had massive hops and was very spectacular to watch.
funny how back in the days if u dunk really hard it’s a huge deal lol
and now a days its cool to barely touch the rim. i dont get that one.
flimflam same
Well my guy this is where it comes from. This is where Carter and lebron and any power dunker got it from. If it weren’t for these guys Carter would be doing 360 layups lol .
Because drop dunks are pussy dunks.
Baby Jordan
is his nickname
skyline such an explosive dunker, but hard to live up to with that nickname slapped on ya, also weatherspoons nickname was baby Barkley in collage aswel.
@@bigunclegskunkxxl9173 jordan wins everytime
skyline EVERYTIME!! if MJ was playing in today's league.... He would drop 100 points easy.
@@bigunclegskunkxxl9173 nah, MJ was a guy that went with the flow of game - hard to score 100 thas why it's only been dun once
Sorry, those Philly uni's were hideous.
He tried to the mike Jordan free throw dunk an came up short smh 🤦♂️ embarrassing 😂
Everyone was trash except miner
worst contest ever
I would say the 1997 dunk contest
chris jackson. lmao.
2:18 Kuzma Spotted in the lower left
looks nothing like him
This Is The Most Unenthusiastic Dunk Contest I Ever Seen 😂😅🤦🏾♂️

Finer 21:55.
Weak AF! Kenny Smith. 😂😂
so boring!
Sucks
Old heads will tell you the 2022 dunk contest was bad, but kids in hs can pull off all these dunks. Lmao.
Compare this to the 1978 ABA dunk contest. It's called evolution, scrub. And half today's kids don't even dunk with power, even if they are on all the steroids and growth hormone and strength training available to today's kids.
These is the mosts Overrated SLAMDUNK CONTEST IN NBA HISTORY
Baby Jordan
