it's been 24 years ago but i just cant forget and still in awe to see this dunk contest every year, a masterpiece and the best of the NBA slam dunk contest history. the 2016 is the second best.
One of the few (I said one of the few) dunk contests where you had not just dunkers but all stars involved. Some of the contest featured 10, 11 or 12 man off the bench guys.
Hell yeah. He didn’t have to follow Vince carter. Imagine being stackhouse…. Now imagine being stackhouse and you’re told to go after carter. Now imagine being next and you see what Vince did…. Yeah… I feel bad for stackhouse and the ball
I wanted togo to a Raptors game back then but it was sooo expensive back then my dad couldn't pay... You kids are lucky you can go to Raptors games so cheap now a days back then they were super expensive and most fams couldn't afford the ticket price!!!!
Around the millennium, the Vince and McGrady days... Prices went through the roof once he hit his head on the roof during that dunk competition... Before it was super cheap and i could actually see games as a little kid back when they played in the skydome when they came as a expansion draft, they were practically giving away tickets for free then Vince came and changed the game and put basketball on the map in Toronto... And since they won the championship it's now more expensive than rent- though with Justinflation, this may not hold true for much longer, then... @@giotwin
That was a harder don't because it was with two hands it's easier to get one hand on a reverse slam then it is two hands so I don't know what the big deal is this guy just did a harder dunk then Vince Carter did and there doesn't seem to be anybody acting like it
That was just a reverse 360 one-handed slam it's not like it was a 360 rear two-handed slam that's a lot harder I've seen Michael Jordan do a 360 slam on somebody actually there were two guys in front of him that regarding him in the Olympic practices against the All-Stars

I feel the same feeling Bro !!
Bruh I was 10 years old watching this like 🙊🙉🙈💯
Are you me :D
Oh yeah ❤ D's slam*dunk 🤣
I don’t know how to describe it, but the vibe of the late 90’s/early 00’s was *PEAK* NBA
these announcers are funny as hell "sneak a quick one", "not allen iverson he might shoot it" 😂😂😂😂
Judging by S. Francis's height he was incredible athletically...
I was born in 01 , so this is my first time seeing this & mannn Vince Carter gave me chills he is superhuman fr
He changed the dunk contest completely
Basketball got better and better. This dunk cooked any dunk contest from the 90s.
I feel sorry for j stackhouse. He goes after VC.
I just watched the '97 contest.... and wow. In this one the top guys are WAYYYYY beyond what the top guys did in 97
Of course VInce still beats Kobe in a dunk contest. It’s not even close

Bro a G LEAGUE GUY won it the last 2 years!!!! 🤦🏻😞
Never seen Duncan so happy. 😅 And yes, the best slam dunk contest ever, Vince really got some crazy stuff up in his sleeves.
No one remembers anything anyone else did in this dunk contest except for Vince ... wow ...all time great.

DUDE!!!! T-MAC walked away like dudddeeeee. Vince was a beast, WOW....... this was this best one NBA has seen...... sheesh. So many dunks!!!
39:39 this always makes me laugh because nobody knew what happened we all was waitin for the replay
Vince was the real deal
Round 1. Imagine being stackhouse and Davis trying to follow carter…. The pain . The ball needs therapy
It's crazy to find out that Tracy McGrady and Vince Carter are cousins and they found that out later on
Thé last of the BEST players right here... Damnnn ..
7:36 Alright Here’s Vince Carter With His First Shot
Carter救了nba的灌籃大賽
Hughes 2nd dunk was clearly trying something he didn’t do based on carter. If he made it, sure. But have to go with your instincts
NBA was so good back then especially being in Oakland they need to bring it back or to sac
They for sure took away from stackhouse a few points after that 1st Carter dunk. No way that was a 41. 44-45 at least
Didn't Scottie Pippen do a freethrow dunk also??
Lol. Steve francis so happy on his first dunk.
Hell yeah. He didn’t have to follow Vince carter.
Imagine being stackhouse…. Now imagine being stackhouse and you’re told to go after carter. Now imagine being next and you see what Vince did…. Yeah… I feel bad for stackhouse and the ball
Can Larry Hughes look any more uninterested?
WOW! My sentiment exactly.
Following Vince carter does that to you… takes the wind out of your sails…
I wanted togo to a Raptors game back then but it was sooo expensive back then my dad couldn't pay... You kids are lucky you can go to Raptors games so cheap now a days back then they were super expensive and most fams couldn't afford the ticket price!!!!
Back then?

Dude. It worse now
@@giotwin mid 90’s into millennium.
@@Denverbroncos87 It’s too
expensive now. When they were a startup they would give out tickets for next to nothing in the Skydome!
And Michael Jordan had a 48-inch vertical jump lots of difference there that's why he could hang in the air
43:45 CAN TELL IT WAS VHS😂😂😂
Larry Hughes!
Hughs always looked like he didn't care to me. I b'leve that's why he didn't last that long. He had everything else besides pure hunger.
Is it settled that Vince is the GOAT slam dunk?? I think so
Good slam dunk big carter
Steve francis talent went completely down the toilet when he got traded to Orlando.
I would like to seen Vince vs Jason Richardson
Why they jog so goofy?
I feel bad for Jerry Stackhouse
Нынче с сопротивлением гораздо лучшие данки долбят!
