100%. I think it’s the best dunk ever because I can’t think of another person past or present that has the flexibility and strength to do it. Aaron Gordon is the only human who can do that dunk that perfectly.

Best dunk contest ever. Zach Levine, unreal. But it says everything though that the thumbnail was Aaron Gordon’s iconic dunk. He really deserved this one.

This is the best dunk the history of this competition but it is not the most iconic. I give that to Vince Carter. Aaron Gordon had 2 of the best dunks ever in this one competition and he got robbed and buried under. Zach won off repeating the same dunk with a small tweak each time, just ridiculous absolutely stupid.
@@Phelddagrif1998 Yes! People are saying AG lost bc he had a weaker dunk than lavines in the final rounds. But it should have never gotten another round in the first place, had the judges not score Lavines dunk 50 AFTER seeing AG's sit-in-air dunk. The judges should've scored it lower, bc in comparison to the sit-in-air dunk, it was not as creative and not to mention it was a bit repetitive.

Took this dunk contest for granted. The greatest one ever.
Aaron Gordon clearly deserved to win. His rotating mascot dunk had the highest amount of originality.
Problem was 50 is the highest score
That was an 11 on a 1-10
One of the main reasons why 2016, was just an amazing year overall...

@@cavemanyogi150Zach and Aaron are definitely two of the best to do it and the 2016 dunk contest is easily a top three dunk contest of all time but Mac isn’t overhyped, his first dunk would’ve been a 50 by any player’s standards, Aaron and Zach included. He’s already insane and I wouldn’t be surprised if he was able to top his performance and do even better next time around.

Since Vince Carter in 2000, Aaron Gordons' performance in 2016 was the best I've seen. I've been really entertained watching him dunks. 😯😯

Everything about this was just perfect. The dunks, judges, commentary, everything was perfect. Aaron Gordon pulled off the greatest dunk ever, and Zach LaVine is the greatest dunk contest participant of all time.
After every slam dunk contest each year I got to come back and watch this. Hands down the best slam dunk contest
This is why all the judges should meet and decide the score as a group instead of individually so that you get more 48s and 49s instead of 45s and 50s

Honestly I don't agree with the judges on Gordon's last dunk, that was a 50, but nobody does a 360 from the free throw line & that's fuckin insane what Gordon pulls off... I honestly thought Lavine won this but a small thread.... Other wise Gordon wins as well but nobody was more consistent than Zack Lavine's 2 performances

Its not exaggerated, zach dunks may be straight to the point but these professional players know how hard those dunks are to pull off. But regardless Aarons dunks are much more memorable

Ah yes. The Robbery of the Century. Zack was amazing, but the dunk Gordon did over the mascot was just inhuman. It's probably the best contest dunk i've ever seen from anyone. Insanely difficult, original (which none of Lavine's dunks was), got it on first try too. It blows my mind that he didnt win that contest.
