Great review Barrie. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the test drive. I learn a lot from your videos about cars. Two quick questions: I'm getting a good deal on a 3 door Fiesta automatic (2009) with 50K mileage. Do you recommend the automatic version 1.6 petrol? Also, you mentioned in the video that it isn't really a motorway car. I do mostly suburban driving but I do also use the motorway for road trips which I take quite often. My other option is a Ford Focus automatic 1.6 petrol with just under 60K miles. I was just wondering which one you would recommend? Thanks again and keep up the good work with the videos.
The African Desi cheers, 1.6 Fiesta or any other is fine for the motorway especially if it does have a 6 th gear, automatics are great too, Fiesta or Focus both great cars
@@BarrieCrampton Thanks for your reply. Correction: the Fiesta is a 1.4 automatic. I really do like it and this video does give a good idea of how it handles. But I'm just leaning towards the Focus simply because of the slightly bigger engine which will be good for the motorway and that it seems to be a bit more comfortable to drive from the other videos you've done. I'll weigh up the options and decide accordingly since it will be my Christmas gift to myself :) Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you. Hope you have a great 2020.

if you can afford the Audi, thats the better car, but having said that you could get a later lower mileage Fiesta for the same money, and that is aa good first car

The African Desi the 1.6 Focus is a better car for motorways, and driving imho but the Fiesta is still a great car

Would you still recommend Ford Fiesta 2010 1.2 titanium ( 3 door ) or a Audi a1 1.2 TSFI sport 3dr 2011 for a first car for a 17 year old

The 1.25 and 1.4 Zetec petrol is the best. Avoid diseal
Pretty low mileage for the age. Mine is on a 60 plate and has done 64,000 miles
