    It's like magic. I just requested a time-lapse of the harrowing of the arena a couple weeks ago and voila! That aerial view was SO SATISFYING. You nailed it. It's the best time-lapse with the possible exception of the tree debris clean-up time-lapse. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this.

    Thanks, Graeme.. I asked if we could watch you harrow the arena a while ago. Wow!! True to your nature, you delivered massively. Lol. A birds-eye view!! That was unexpected but so cool to watch. Thanks so much for all the editing, as well. Have a great day!

    Good job Graeme ! Technically pro, very well done.. The horses must wonder what their human is doing🤔

    Nice to watch from above. Such a satisfying feeling whan the surface is neat. Sometimes I am the lucky first person to ride in the outdoor arena freshly harrowed, feeling like a royalty 😁. It's very helpful because you can see every single hoofprint and correct your lines and circles etc, get more precise. Sometimes I look back on what I thought was a pretty straight line but it looks as if my horse was drunk 🤣 !

    I would not have figured out that configuration of harrowing the arena if my life depended on it lol. Excellent!

      Thanks! It's actually just like ice rink cleaning with the Zamboni, they do the same pattern 😊

    Wow, that was fun !!! Had no idea your "drone" could hover like that to give us such a view, the operation was fascinating, good job; in regular speed how long does it take?

    • @StableHorseTraining
      @StableHorseTraining  3 года назад

      I sped the footage up 5x so it wouldn't be so boring. All in all I think about 20 to 25 mins.

    Always a pleasure to be invited into your world!!! Hey, is Bob driving the harrower around? Looks possible from the drone...lol!

    That looked so much fun, I’d be harrowing even if I didn’t have to if I could zip round like that (yes I know you speeded it up) 😂

    looks nice! Do you think about hooking that mesh to a carriage girth on a horse, so as like to do long reining? Seen this already with some folks, and one trainer in particular has her pony really on autopilot to do this- she only has to care for the edges of the arena ;-)

    • @StableHorseTraining
      @StableHorseTraining  3 года назад

      I don't have a carriage girth so it's not even possible. Either way though, I likely wouldn't do it as I'd be harrowing forever due to the deep prints the horses leave that my harrow doesn't cover over in one pass.. essentially I'd have to do two passes over the prints and they'd make them on the pass we were doing sooooooo

    What about the four corners? Do you use a manual rake for that? (I guess I am the OCD one, but I am just curious)

    • @StableHorseTraining
      @StableHorseTraining  3 года назад

      hahaha... well.. first I tromp around all over the place and drag my feet around to mess things up. Then I take a rake and pull the corners in all kinds of directions so it doesn't match the turns. kidding.. yes, when I find a moment I'll go to the corners and rake them in a bit. Sometimes I do the corners first as the sand builds up in them.
