too bad there are no quads in the showroom, do they have a lot of inventory or do they get ordered?
Quads take time to come in. That's the issue I ran into- they are in big demand and do not last.
Is a tuk-tuk reasonable for there? If so, how much do they usually cost? I would like possible coverage for rain.

Tuk Tuk is three wheeled moped. I don't think they are too common in the DR, but haven't been there in years. I would go for something with a bigger motor....ATV would be the way to go. IMHO.

What are the license and insurance requirements in the DR?
Someone else reading maybe better suited to answer this. My assistant took my bike to get plated and i think it ran 2500 pesos don't recall.
Insurance was similar or less...again don't recall.
