I just made this cake today and OMG, its unbelievably delicious but just a tip for anyone else, creme the butter and brown sugar first then add the eggs, chocolate mixture and dry ingredients. This cake is perfectly balanced, I paired it with milk chocolate buttercream. Well done Gemma, you never fail to impress me :)

oh my gosh! Your best-ever chocolate cake is my go-to recipe and my family loves it so much! Can’t wait to try this new improved version. But I do have a trauma on melting chocolates since my chocolate ALWAYS breaks, has unmelted lumps, and the oil slightly separates😞 anyways gotta try this one..
