I wanted to ask, in my thar currently with wired android auto, the phone frequently keeps disconnecting while going on bump/potholes etc. I've tried changing wires, buying new wires etc, nothing works. The same wires work fine in a Nexon without disconnection. Any idea if this solves the frequent disconnection issue in the thar? 1. What is the android version of your phone, i am asking because the android Auto Ui has been updated, and now the mic and other buttons have shifted from bottom to the right side of the screen. I am confused that in your case, the older version is showing because of the older android version or because of this device.
2. Is there a chance that custom duty will get applied since it will be coming from China. I ordered GFuel from America and had to pay 3000 rupees of custom duty.

Bhai can you use it on any android headunit. I have got ts7 android unit, but i am not sure if it supports android auto or carplay since no app was provided with it. But it works with the headunit reloaded app but wireless option is very laggy.

You insert Carlinkit device in the same slot thorough with Wired Apple CarPlay works.
Then you open your phone and search for Autokit ( name of Carlinkit)
Connect with the same and your wireless apple CarPlay is activated
Your car bluetooth should remain off as it's not going to help in the connection process

As per my information - tbox plus/ tbox lite has issues with SKODA cars
However Carlinkit 4.0 and Carlinkit 5.0 works well with SKODA

please disconnect the car bluetooth! Sometimes the car bluetooth if connected creates problem!
